Sharing a corner with the famous Kingston Lounge, the restaurant’s muted, taupe detailing complements the foundational walls of an archetypal Brooklyn brownstone. Immediately inside, an elegantly contemporary bar and lounge seating area is enclosed by tasteful marble tiling. Meat’s main seating area includes armchair and banquette seating, and large windows to enjoy Brooklyn’s unique scenery. Above, the ceiling’s angular, wood panels invite the observer forward into a final seating area. This private dining room juxtaposes an exposed brick accent wall with living ivy and a modern glass ceiling that draws in historic Brooklyn. Both dining areas eschew conventional design, instead featuring marble and walnut tabletops, hand-crafted stone dishes, and radiant brass lighting; a relaxing twist on traditional fine dining. Located in the JW Marriott Chicago in the city’s bustling Loop financial district, The Florentine offers an elegant yet accessible interpretation of seasonal Italian cuisine. The Florentine offers private and semi-private dining space, which can be reserved for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our versatile spaces provide the perfect venue for every occasion – business dinners, cocktail receptions, and post wedding brunches alike. Our large Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated dinner, and 90 for a reception. The space can be reserved as one large room, or two separate spaces for smaller events. The room features two 42” Plasma TVs, as well as access to our surround sound system, which can be connected to a personal iPhone. In our main dining area, semi-private spaces accommodating 12-50 guests can be reserved for an intimate dinner, or a larger cocktail reception. The Florentine Bar can also be reserved for cocktail receptions up to 130 guests.

Our weddings are really simple and enjoyable. We make every effort to ensure that your day is delightful in every way and devoid of worry. Our planners are incredible and put in a ton of effort to make your day perfect! Plan a visit... I'd be delighted to personally show you our barn. The price is the best available. There's no denying that! We provide the venue, which includes an outdoor altar with space for up to 150 guests, an open-air cocktail barn for the hour of cocktails following the ceremony, a separate reception barn (3500 square feet), and a very modern and adorable home to rent with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a full kitchen. We can accommodate up to 150 guests with tables and chiavari seats as well. You're right—at our venue, you don't need to rent chairs and tables! We also provide a TON of free, entertaining decor that you may use. You are welcome to utilize the "free" decoration in our entire space. We also have a rental space with beautiful vintage furnishings and decorations. That room is under the supervision of Ashley, one of our coordinators. In addition, we rent chargers, vintage china, vintage goblets, and other wonderful items.
