Originally built in 1960 to house the Winter Olympic delegation during the Squaw Valley Games, the inn has since grown into a 56-room mountain lodge that pairs the character of its historic bones with the comfort and amenities of a full-service resort. The inn offers approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and private event space across two connected indoor ballrooms and a pair of outdoor patios, accommodating groups of 10 to 200 seated guests or up to 400 for cocktail receptions and standing events. Sorensdale Recreation Center is a community event venue in Hayward, California, operated by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Located at 275 Goodwin Street in a quiet cul-de-sac setting near Tennyson High School, the center underwent a full renovation in 2016 and now offers a modern, welcoming environment for private events. Le Petit Trianon Theatre occupies a 1923 landmark building at 72 N. 5th Street in downtown San Jose, California, one block from City Hall. Our quiet and beautifully maintained grounds, located in lovely downtown Los Gatos, provide a sanctuary of calm in our indoor and outdoor settings. Our interior's clean lines provide you with a blank canvas on which to create your own unique event. Our garden area is also ideal for weddings, parties, and family gatherings. Inside, we can easily handle gatherings for up to 150 people, with additional outside flexibility. We are an easy walk to restaurants and hotels in Los Gatos, making us ideal for smaller groups (20 to 50) looking for a pleasant, quiet area to work. To allow you to design your event, we have a raised stage with grand piano, spacious hall with hardwood floors, sound and projection equipment, dressing rooms, covered terrace, outside bar, beautifully planted garden, and gazebo. Malaga Cove Library occupies a 1929 Mediterranean Revival landmark designed by architect Myron Hunt, situated within Malaga Cove Plaza in Palos Verdes Estates, California. The five-story building features cream-colored stucco walls, a red mission tile roof, wrought-iron railings, and a main reading room with exposed wood beams and hand-carved walnut furniture — all set against a hillside overlooking the Pacific coast. In 1980, the building was designated a historical landmark by the Rancho de los Palos Verdes Historical Society, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The venue offers two primary event settings: a large classical Art Gallery on the ground floor and the adjacent Olmsted Garden, a terraced outdoor space originally designed by Frederick Olmsted Jr. in 1930 and later restored to its original specifications. Together, the Gallery and Garden accommodate wedding ceremonies of up to 100 guests, with seated reception capacity of up to 85 when both spaces are combined. The Tower Room at the top of the building, featuring angled ceilings, exposed beams, and Pacific Ocean views, serves as an additional staging area for wedding parties.
