The Santa Fe River Ranch is the North Central Florida venue that best combines originality and adaptability. In addition to that, it is a working cattle operation that has over 400 cattle in its herd. The Santa Fe River Ranch is committed to being responsible stewards of the land, and as part of this effort, the ranch voluntarily participates in Best Management Practices (BMP), which aim to preserve and improve the surrounding environment. The Florida Department of Agriculture and the Florida Farm Bureau Federation have just recently presented an award to the ranch in recognition of its commitment to practicing environmentally responsible stewardship. We would like to express our gratitude for your interest in Santa Fe River Ranch. SFRR is the outdoor venue in north central Florida that is both the most unique and the most versatile. It provides a number of breathtaking ceremony locations, both covered and uncovered, so that you have a wide range of options to choose from. Setting Santa Fe River Ranch apart from the rest is our beautiful reception area that features flowing drapes, a large chandelier, a balcony and spiral staircases, and, most importantly, air conditioning and heat. In addition, our vintage bridal lodge will be at your disposal throughout the entirety of your wedding day. We coordinate and facilitate the entire day of your wedding so that you can rest assured that everything is being taken care of. When you book with Santa Fe River Ranch, you'll get access to another one of our distinctive features: we only host one wedding per week. Giving you extra access to the facility should you need it. You will also have access to the ranch throughout the entire day on Sunday, allowing you to return there and gather your personal belongings without having to rush to do so the night of the event or wedding you are attending. Because of this, the experience will be much more relaxing for you.

Clark Plantation is a rustic-elegant event venue set on private grounds in Newberry, Florida, about 15 minutes west of Gainesville. The main structure spans more than 7,000 square feet and brings together a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, crystal chandeliers, white billowing drapes, and thousands of twinkling lights — a combination that gives the space equal footing for intimate gatherings and full-scale celebrations. The venue accommodates 50 to 250 guests across indoor and outdoor areas. Outside, mature pecan trees, a fire pit, and stone-paved walkways create a setting well suited to ceremonies, cocktail hours, and the kind of send-offs that linger in memory. Bridal and groom cottage dressing rooms are available on-site. Clark Plantation provides an in-house Events Director, Planner, and Coordinator for every event, and does not permit outside directors — guests and clients work directly with the venue team from planning through day-of execution. Décor is included in most packages, and the venue is handicap accessible.

The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center sits on the southwest corner of the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, adjacent to the UF Cultural Plaza and its collection of performing arts and museum venues. As a fully accredited IACC Conference Center, the hotel combines guest accommodations — 248 rooms — with 25,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space across 12 rooms, making it well suited for events that pair large gatherings with on-site lodging. The flagship Century Ballroom spans 6,860 square feet with 18-foot ceilings and accommodates up to 700 guests for receptions or 450 for banquet-style events. Smaller breakout rooms range from intimate boardroom settings to mid-size configurations capable of seating 50 to 60 guests at banquet rounds. In-house catering is available through Shula's Steakhouse, a full-service restaurant on the property. The venue holds ISO certifications in energy management, environmental management, and quality management (50001:2018, 14001:2015, and 9001:2015), reflecting a documented commitment to sustainable operations. The Baughman Center is a contemplation and event space on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, open to all individuals regardless of cultural background, faith, or university affiliation. Designed with soaring windows and natural materials — travertine marble floors and hardwood-paneled ceilings — the building draws the Florida landscape indoors while remaining grounded in a quiet, architectural stillness that has earned it a place on Florida Architecture's "100 Years, 100 Places" list and a Judges' Award from Keep Alachua County Beautiful. The center seats 96 guests on fixed bench seating in a single intimate hall, making it a fitting setting for wedding ceremonies, memorial services, and private gatherings. With more than 100 weddings hosted each year and full wheelchair accessibility throughout, the Baughman Center is well suited for both formal and intimate occasions.

5701 Venue + Event Hall is a nonprofit event space in Gainesville, Florida, where every rental dollar supports the on-site Senior Recreation Center. By day, the facility serves local seniors with daily classes, wellness programming, and a Meals on Wheels lunch site. By evening and on weekends, the doors open for weddings and receptions, family reunions, baby showers, corporate meetings, and private celebrations. The centerpiece is a banquet hall outfitted with round tables for seated dining, a stage, a built-in projector with an 11-foot drop screen, three 65-inch flat screens, dimmable lighting, and an outdoor patio. A full commercial kitchen with a traditional oven, industrial refrigerator and freezer, and warming equipment supports catered events. For smaller gatherings, the facility offers a large meeting room with flat screens and whiteboard space, as well as a compact meeting room suited to focused workshops or training sessions.
