Our 4th Hoxton Hotel in the US is located in the heart of DTLA with amazing views of the old movie theatres and shops along Broadway. The Hoxton, Downtown LA is housed in the historic Los Angeles Transit Building, originally completed in 1922 by the Los Angeles Railway Corporation. The gorgeous Beaux Arts building has been fully restored with 174 comfy bedrooms. In addition to our cleverly designed rooms, The Hoxton, Downtown LA will feature meetings and event spaces like our stunning rooftop pool deck and restaurants, as well as The Apartment, with 4 private boardrooms featuring access to The Pantry which serves free snacks, coffee, tea, and water all day long. Each space can accommodate a vast array of events from press events, off-site meetings, art exhibitions, cocktail parties, private receptions and more. Freehand Los Angeles offers a variety of unique spaces that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. The Exchange restaurant's eclectic menus reflect the flavors of multicultural California cuisine through an Israeli lens, Rudolph's Bar & Tea offers unique tea infused cocktails, and our rooftop pool deck with city views is home to our favorite bar, Broken Shaker. City Market South breathes new life into the oldest wholesale produce market in Los Angeles, bringing world-class dining and cocktails, one-of-a-kind retail and Class-A creative office space to distinct buildings that all surround an open central plaza. Each space has been reimagined for the demanding business, adamant that the space they inhabit is a reflection of who they are, what they do and the quality of what they produce. City Market South is 75,000 SF of vintage, brick and bow truss warehouses and open plan concrete structures on 2.5 acres at the southern end of the original City Market wholesale produce center. The City Market of Los Angeles was founded in 1909 as a cooperative of farmers seeking a central distribution center in Los Angeles. These same founding families maintain ownership and control of the company to this day.

"Café Basque Los Angeles is a love letter. Straddling the borders of France and Spain, wedged between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic, the Pays Basque (Basque Country) is fiercely independent and culturally and linguistically distinct from anywhere in the world. The cooking is joyful, generous and uncomplicated. Overflowing with excellent local products from the mountains and the sea, it has the particularity of being marked by the use of sweet and mildly hot peppers. Named after a town in the mountains above the port of St Jean de Luz, Espelette peppers were imported from central and south America in the 16th century and are a cornerstone of Basque cuisine in the same way that the American tomato has defined a large part of Italian cooking. Meanwhile, amid this rich culture and history, the Basque coast has been one of the world’s great surf destinations since the 1960s. Someone who writes a love letter is not necessarily a specialist on the subject and I do not pretend to be a specialist in Basque cooking. My love affaire is with France and its regions which have been an infinite source of inspiration to me for more than 20 years. To identify the essence of each cuisine and remain loyal to the approach and then to share it with each restaurant - colleagues and customers alike - is a source of particular personal satisfaction." — Chef Daniel Rose
