    The Pace House

3057 Paces Mill Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA

Surrounded by fine homes, in the shadow of skyscrapers, is a small oasis….the delightful village of Vinings. At its heart are two historic gems, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion. Wrapped in nineteenth-century charm, they provide the perfect setting for today’s weddings and special corporate or private events. The Historic Pace House was built from the remains of the 17-room antebellum home of Vinings founder Hardy Pace. The house served as General Sherman’s temporary headquarters where he planned the siege of Atlanta. After the Civil War, Hardy’s son, Solomon Pace, returned home to find the family home in ruins. Sometime around 1870, Solomon rebuilt the home – albeit more modestly- from doors, windows and remnants of several small cabins that survived the fire of the main house. Today The Pace House consists of a parlor, a dining room, and a bridal suite which can be used as a private retreat for the bride and her attendants or event host. This modest frame house has a sense of history so tangible that you feel it from the moment you enter. Adjacent to The Pace House, The Old Pavilion, itself a Vinings landmark, was a place where old Atlanta Society entertained and danced the night away during the late 1800s and until the early 1900s. Today guests can use this historic property to make history for themselves. With a warm, rustic ambiance, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion feature a versatile reception area that is perfect for any occasion. Both buildings are connected to a spacious open deck area which can be a beautiful site for a ceremony and may also be transformed into your dance floor or cocktail area for your event. The Pace House and The Old Pavilion are operated by The Vinings Historic Preservation Society, a non-profit organization. All profit from event rentals goes towards the Society’s mission of maintaining and preserving these properties, along with The Yarbrough House, the Society’s headquarters across the street. As of May 2009, the Pace House has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. When planning your wedding you will definitely want to consider The Pace House for your intimate, romantic event. Their beautiful location can be transformed into any style of wedding you wish. It comes with a touch of “old” already built-in as this historic building has been restored to make your wedding day a dream come true. As for photographs and capturing those priceless wedding photos, your photographer will just love this intimate setting. When looking for a venue for your wedding, location is key. Pace House is in the heart of Vinings nestled close to the interstates, hotels and shopping.

Puritan Chemical Company built and operated The Foundry at Puritan Mill, which opened its doors in 1921 and is still in operation today. A variety of cleaning goods, including Puritan soap, were created and stored in the facility until they were sent out through the nearby Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It was here that Puritan Chemical Company's Atlanta headquarters was located from 1946 to 1996. The property was bought by Urban Realty Partners and Weaver & Woodbery Company in 2000 with the intention of restoring it and converting it into a mixed-use site. The Foundry, with its 12,000 square feet of floor area, is a wonderfully striking and adaptable event venue. Original wood beams, spacious skylights, and polished concrete floors create a backdrop rich with character and history, highlighting the industrial past and vibrant present of Atlanta's popular Westside neighborhood and its surrounding neighborhoods. It is historically significant because of its association with Victor Hugo Kriegshaber, who was a leader in the cultural and economic development of Atlanta during the first third of the twentieth century and who was also the original owner of this house." He commissioned the building to be designed by architect Willis F. Danny just before 1900, and he and his family lived there until their deaths in the year 1924. Denny's work is exemplified by the Kriegshaber residence; he was only in Atlanta for a few years before his untimely death at the age of 31 from pneumonia, but he managed to design many of the city's most prestigious public and private structures before 1905. The house is a notable transitional statement in terms of style, combining late Victorian and eclectic elements in a cohesive whole. The Wrecking Bar Brewpub has three different event spaces, each with a different capacity and atmosphere: the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, and the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. The Biergarten is an event space located in our brewery warehouse that can accommodate up to 42 people seated and up to 100 people standing. There are twelve beer taps and fermentation tanks in the room, so it is definitely a casual venue, and it has a built-in stage, which makes it ideal for celebrations that include live music. It is located within our historic house, The Marianna, and serves as a private dining room for up to 20 people. The space can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated event or 40 people for a standing, cocktail-style event. In addition to dinner parties and get-togethers, the Parlor is an excellent venue for workplace mixers, book clubs, birthday parties, and rehearsal dinners. This is our formal event space, located on the main floor of the house, and it can accommodate up to 250 people in seating capacity. Because of its high ceilings, stained glass windows, and original fireplaces, it is an excellent venue for weddings (both ceremony and reception), breakout sessions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties.

    Miller Union

999 Brady Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA
    • Spaces for 40-60 Guests
    • 1 Restaurant

Miller Union is named after the former Miller Union Stockyards that occupied one full city block in Atlanta’s old meatpacking district in the 1880s. The stockyard building suffered a fire after the turn of the century and was later replaced with an industrial warehouse, typical of the time period. Miller Union, the restaurant, was founded in 2009 by Steven Satterfield and Neal McCarthy in the refurbished warehouse that sits on the former site and has since contributed to the evolution of the neighborhood. They created a rustic, yet modern atmosphere with a respect for the history of the neighborhood, and an anchor for the emerging one. Miller Union has since become an Atlanta mainstay. Satterfield cooks in an organic way by reacting to the ever-changing harvest of the seasons. The restaurant embodies an authentic approach to farmstead-inspired cooking, in which ingredients drive the menu. Satterfield’s style is simple, but creative and refined, with a lean on Southern history. McCarthy’s acclaimed wine program complements the style of Satterfield’s cooking with a dynamic wine list that focuses on small producers with sustainable farming practices.

George and Judy Lee, with the help of Skip Engelbrecht, founded La Maison Rouge in 1995. Located in the center of Paris on Ponce, which has been a prominent shopping destination in midtown Atlanta for more than 30 years. The extravagant and lavish furnishings were gathered from abroad buying trips, mansions in Georgia, and we are especially privileged to have some pieces from Coretta Scott's and Dr. Martin Luther King's homes. We've staged countless festivities, fundraisers, and events over the previous 25 years. On the 100th anniversary of the building's construction, a fire broke out on Ponce de Leon on Thanksgiving Eve, 2019. The cause is unknown, but despite the enormous destruction, much of the furniture and the heart of La Maison Rouge were spared. We never imagined we'd be able to locate anything as special as our Midtown apartment, but we did! The Healey Building, where we now reside, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1913, it's a magnificent neo-gothic marble structure with a stunning entry rotunda that we can use in addition to our new area. We now have a greater capacity and more availability for smaller events thanks to the new space, which is about double the size of our prior location. Furthermore, we are no longer limited to merely holding evening activities. We may now host events at any time! If you liked our prior location in Midtown, you'll adore our new digs.

Every element of the process is led by great components and a careful methodology, in which each component adds to the overall. Come together, eat well, and live without a care in the world. In a chic environment, this high-concept restaurant offers imaginative tasting menus and wine pairings that are sure to wow. If you ask any Atlanta foodie about the city's most talked-about eateries, you're sure to hear a lot about Lazy Betty. The groundswell began a year before the restaurant's February 2019 grand opening in Candler Park, Georgia. A series of pop-ups, hosted by chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips (Hsu was raised in Atlanta, and both were educated at Le Bernardin in New York City), helped them refine their menu, which rapidly sold out. The momentum continued to build when Hsu, an Atlanta native, appeared on Netflix's The Final Table, where he impressed viewers with his ability to maintain his cool under pressure. Thus, it came as no surprise when Lazy Betty and its tasting menu eventually opened their doors to the public and became an instant hit. The restaurant, which is jokingly named after Hsu's mother, Betty, who was known for being a tireless worker who could be described as anything but lazy, also draws on the talents of Hsu's siblings and business partners, Howard Hsu and Anita Hsu, who assist in the management of the industrial-chic restaurant.

In 2011, when one of Atlanta's most celebrated and talented NBA players, Kevin Willis #42, teamed up with an award-winning and seasoned Los Angeles event designer/planner, they created a highly styled and vibrant event space! 42West Entertainment Group's event venue has emerged as one of Atlanta's most sought-after exclusive hot spots thanks to a clear aesthetic vision and nearly three decades of entertainment and celebrity-focused event experience. Event environments that are luxurious, exclusive, and creative are enhanced by the use of exquisite elements. 42West Entertainment Group extends a warm welcome. In terms of giving back to the communities in which they live, Kevin and Lauren have been at it for a long time. Between them, Kevin and Lauren have invested their hearts and souls into the underserved populations of inner cities all across the United States. They were able to create what is perhaps the most unique aspect of 42West Entertainment Group as a result of their non-profit experience. The duo came to the conclusion that the only way they could devote their full attention to an event space was to ensure that it included a significant give-back program. This will result in the donation of 42West to non-profit organizations in the metro Atlanta area at no cost to the organizations. Additionally, prime dates and times will be made available, as opposed to other event venues that tend to offer small discounts only on undesirable days and times of the week, as is the case with other venues. There will be a set of criteria used to select non-profit organizations, which can be discussed with the 42West sales team. When contacting 42West about a non-profit event, please use the contact form located under the "INQUIRE" tab.

    Nina & Rafi

661 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, USA

Nina and Rafi is a neighborhood pizza business located on the Atlanta Beltline. Pizza and Italian-style pub meals are served, and a complete bar is available, including an extensive amaro collection. We have a huge patio with plenty of seats. We do not take bookings at this time. It is our policy to operate in a CASHLESS environment. We are a rustic Italian restaurant and pizzeria that also serves brunch. The Detroit-style pizza served here has developed a cult following, and the drinks served here are among the most inventive on the BeltLine. A rustic Italian diner atmosphere is created inside the restaurant with red-leather banquettes and an open kitchen, while black walls, industrial light fixtures, and damaged mirrors provide an element of modernity to the space. If you're traveling the BeltLine—22-mile Atlanta's analog to New York's High Line—not it's difficult to find Nina & Rafi Restaurant & Bar. Aside from the fact that its patio seating extends all the way to the sidewalk, the fragrance of its pizzas draws in more customers than any marketing effort could hope to achieve.
