Cardinal Creek Farm is an 80-acre private property set among the rolling hills of Leon, Kansas, offering country and farm experiences for weddings, corporate functions, reunions, and special events. The farm is built around a belief that meaningful connections grow from time spent together in natural surroundings, and its grounds and barn provide a setting that reflects that philosophy. The property accommodates wedding celebrations of 200 or more guests and is equipped for a wide range of private events. Crestview Country Club is a private country club in Wichita, Kansas, founded in 1921 and now home to 36 holes of championship golf designed by Robert Trent Jones — the only 36-hole private club in Kansas. The club moved to its current location at 1000 N. 127th Street East in 1969 and was acquired by Concert Golf Partners in 2016, which brought more than $3 million in facility improvements. For private events, Crestview offers a range of indoor and outdoor settings. The Grand Ballroom accommodates larger wedding receptions and galas with a formal, elegant atmosphere, while the Garden Room suits smaller gatherings with views overlooking the outdoor garden. Prairie Rose Ranch is a Western-themed event and entertainment venue located in Benton, Kansas, just outside the Wichita metro area. Founded in 1999 as a chuckwagon supper operation on open ranch land, it grew into one of the largest tourist attractions in the state. In 2000, the owners added the Prairie Rose Opera House — a 3,500-square-foot indoor concert hall with a full kitchen, mercantile, and restrooms — so events could take place comfortably year-round. The ranch offers several distinct spaces suited to a wide range of private events, from weddings and receptions to corporate gatherings, birthdays, and anniversaries. The Opera House seats up to 330 guests and features a new sound system and presentation capabilities alongside its signature cowboy décor. The main location, The Hudson Commerce at 508 S Commerce Street, spans several distinct spaces: Gatsby Hall accommodates 300 to 350 seated guests in a setting defined by exposed brick, weathered steel beams, polished concrete floors, and chandelier lighting. Studio 504 seats up to 60 guests and suits smaller gatherings, while the Urban Garden provides outdoor space for ceremonies of up to 280 and receptions of up to 250. The main Banquet Room spans roughly 5,000 square feet and seats up to 300 guests. It features a permanent dance floor, a raised stage with steps, and a built-in sound system with two wireless microphones and projection capability. Breakout rooms totaling 600 square feet are available alongside the main hall, along with a full catering kitchen and a serving room. The El Dorado Train Depot is a historic 1918 Missouri Pacific passenger station located in El Dorado, Kansas. Designed in the Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival style, the one-story red-brick building features a distinctive red-tile roof and wide overhanging eaves. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1994, the depot has been thoughtfully adapted for private events while preserving its architectural character. Two rentable rooms accommodate gatherings of different scales. The West Room seats up to 75 guests and includes a kitchen available for food preparation, while the smaller East Room accommodates up to 30 guests with a sink area for light service needs. Both rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, and restrooms. Each rental includes 12 hours of event time covering setup and cleanup. The surrounding depot grounds are well-maintained and feature three Artscape sculptures, offering an outdoor option for small ceremonies.
