The Paces Room features high ceilings, wine racks, and exposed brick walls, all of which combine to provide an enticing ambiance for a gourmet event that is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. It can accommodate 16 to 35 guests for lunch and supper at hand-crafted round tables, and the area can be reconfigured to accommodate both professional private dining and smaller parties. Visitors can take use of the grounds for a standing reception prior to their function if the weather is warm enough. The Paces Space is equipped with an 80" flat screen monitor that is incorporated into the room and is HDMI compliant, which may be used for presentations. Canoe’s Wine Room is the ideal spot for smaller, more intimate celebrations and gatherings. The private room seats 10 to 18 guests at an impressive rectangular handcrafted wooden table that was built into the space. The interior of the room blends wood, brick, and ironwork with vintage-select, handcrafted wines, creating a warm, rich, inviting ambiance for our guests. In warmer weather, guests can enjoy and peruse the gardens for a standing reception prior to their event. The Wine Room is also equipped for presentations, with a specially fitted screen on-site available for rent. Canoe’s covered patio offers guests unparalleled views of the Chattahoochee River and surrounding manicured gardens. The patio can accommodate private dining groups of 15 to 20 guests at either one or two long wooden tables. Canoe’s River Garden offers a picturesque backdrop that will elevate any occasion. The River Garden can accommodate 40 to 140 guests for special occasions, corporate events, or rehearsal dinners. For weddings we can accommodate 50 to 140 guests. The tent is positioned on brick pavers and it’s interior features a tent liner, chandeliers on dimmer switches and pole curtains. Canoe provides fans for cross-ventilation during the warmer months and clear sidewalls and heaters on thermostats for the colder months. Live entertainment is permitted, DJ or band, and there is a noise restriction for entertainment at 10:00 p.m.

Piastra is a family owned modern Italian restaurant. 100 % Scratch kitchen, award wining wine list, craft cocktails and local beer. We have an extensive Zero ABV list including many craft Non-alcoholic Beers. Our private room holds up to 45. There is no minimum with food and beverage purchase. There is a $100 deposit and $35 room charge to secure a reservation. The deposit is applied to the final total of the bill and refundable up to 24 hours before the event.

Tucked on the West Marietta bend in the Howell Station Neighborhood, The Dogwood at Westside Paper is a quick ride to Georgia Tech, Blandtown, The Works, the West Midtown corridor, Midtown Atlanta, and the Downtown Atlanta attractions. The terraced front entrance leads into the curated pre-function and ballroom. Bathed in calming neutral tones, the space is flooded with natural light leading into the ballroom equipped with room-dividing curtains. The Dogwood at Westside Paper is ideally suited for an array of gatherings including galas, holiday parties, weddings, awards dinners, corporate events, and social gatherings.

We are able to close The Optimist to the general public for you if you are hosting a wedding or other fully private event. Cooks & Soldiers draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France. The Spanish call it Pais Vasco; the Basque say Euskal Herria. Regardless of nomenclature, it stands for thousands of years of fierce independence, cultural autonomy, and unrivaled cuisine. Pintxos are the Basque answer to tapas. From the word for “thorn,” a Pintxo is traditionally served on bread, pierced with a toothpick. Pintxo Bars represent the casual, convivial aspect of Basque dining, where guests order for the table over a glass of Txakoli (crisp, slightly bubbly Basque wine) or tart Basque cider. Pintxo Bars are loud, vibrant and celebrate the joy of companionship and conversation over the formality of coursed dining. Cooks & Soldiers seeks to recreate this environment with our Pintxos Tradicionales, served on toast, and our Pintxos Especiales, composed expressions from our chefs. The Asador, on the other hand, is a wood-fired grill, elevating the simple yet divine combination of olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoke. At Cooks & Soldiers, our Asador is the centerpiece of our kitchen where whole meats and seafood are grilled over hot coals. These larger asador dishes are designed to be enjoyed communally, accompanied by a variety of fire roasted vegetable offerings.
