Summerour Studio is an expansive, refurbished warehouse located in Atlanta’s exciting Westside, where the city’s industrial past frames many destinations for design, dining, and style. This wonderfully unique building is the main studio for Summerour & Associates architecture firm. Updated in 2005 by renowned architect Keith Summerour, the building was previously the home to Preston Rose Printing, and had been in various uses since the 1920s. The roof over the 8000 square foot main space is supported by massive bow trusses, which allow the wide, open floor plan to be free of columns or supports. Revealed through a wall of windows that runs the entire length of the space is a breathtaking skyline view of Atlantic Station and Midtown. For events held at Summerour Studio, Novare Events provides full beverage service, including barware, glassware, and staffing. Summerour Studios has an exclusive in-house caterer. The Event Station is a private event venue in Powder Springs, Georgia, housed in a renovated gas station on Marietta Street. Two friends spotted the potential in the rundown building in 2014 and transformed it into an event space that officially opened on October 11, 2014. The venue accommodates gatherings of up to 50 guests, with tables and chairs for that capacity included in the rental rate. Free parking is also part of every booking, along with final cleaning and trash disposal — so clients can focus on the event rather than the logistics.

In 1886,a century before the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County purchased this elegant, late Victorian period home, Judge and Colonel W.T. Roberts exchanged wedding vows with Emma Quillian, daughter of the Reverend J. C. B. Quillian. Reverend Quillian was one of the early settlers of Douglas County, and the property’s original owner. After the death of Reverend Quillian, Colonel Roberts bought the land from his mother-in-law and work on the two-story Neoclassical home began March 21, 1901.

Surrounded by fine homes, in the shadow of skyscrapers, is a small oasis….the delightful village of Vinings. At its heart are two historic gems, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion. Wrapped in nineteenth-century charm, they provide the perfect setting for today’s weddings and special corporate or private events. The Historic Pace House was built from the remains of the 17-room antebellum home of Vinings founder Hardy Pace. The house served as General Sherman’s temporary headquarters where he planned the siege of Atlanta. After the Civil War, Hardy’s son, Solomon Pace, returned home to find the family home in ruins. Sometime around 1870, Solomon rebuilt the home – albeit more modestly- from doors, windows and remnants of several small cabins that survived the fire of the main house. Today The Pace House consists of a parlor, a dining room, and a bridal suite which can be used as a private retreat for the bride and her attendants or event host. This modest frame house has a sense of history so tangible that you feel it from the moment you enter. Adjacent to The Pace House, The Old Pavilion, itself a Vinings landmark, was a place where old Atlanta Society entertained and danced the night away during the late 1800s and until the early 1900s. Today guests can use this historic property to make history for themselves. With a warm, rustic ambiance, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion feature a versatile reception area that is perfect for any occasion. The Whitlock Inn has been a Marietta icon since its construction in 1900. We've done everything we can to maintain faithful to the building's character and history, including keeping the original brickwork, steel-framed factory windows, and industrial overhead beams. The Foxglove and 131 LeFleur, located at 54 Atlanta Street, are conveniently placed walking distance from the historic Marietta Square. Champagne toasts in the garden courtyard, canapés under the sweeping draperies, and dancing under the original steel beams overhead. The Foxglove oozes the historical ambiance inherent to its Marietta Square setting, having been thoughtfully built with respect for the building's unique charm. The details have an exquisite, slightly industrial sense to them. The William Root House is a historic wedding location in downtown Marietta, Georgia. The house was erected in 1845 by Hannah and William Root, who were among the first to establish Marietta. Today, the property serves as a museum and a private event venue, complete with magnificent grounds. The mansion and grounds have been meticulously restored, making it suitable for rustic wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, and other events. The town square is located next to the Marietta Square Market and can be accessed on foot in five minutes. Atlanta and Hartsfield-Atlanta International Airport are also around a 30-minute drive away. Indoor and outdoor event areas are available at the William Root House. The courtyard is a multi-purpose facility surrounded by well-kept vegetation. The courtyard can seat up to 70 people for a seated meal and up to 150 people for a ceremony or cocktail hour. The location has a lovely inside room with seats for up to 24 guests for smaller, more intimate occasions.
