Donovan Pavilion, Vail's $3.1 million events facility that is nestled between Gore Creek and the South Frontage Road near West Vail, is the ideal year-round resource for weddings, receptions, board retreats, banquets, fundraisers, and conferences. Donovan Pavilion is located near West Vail and is nestled between Gore Creek and the South Frontage Road. This contemporary mountain lodge features towering windows and arching beam ceilings, both of which exhibit panoramic mountain valley vistas and the nearby open area that spans 50 acres. On-site parking is available without charge and in ample supply. The Donovan Pavilion has been establishing a name for itself as a striking timber and stone mountain conference venue ever since it was constructed in 2003. When you take into account the surrounding vistas as well as the fifty acres of park and open space, it is easy to understand why this location is so exceptional for hosting really memorable events. The Bearcat Stables wedding and event site offers a variety of ceremony locations, such as wide meadows with expansive valley vistas, along the banks of Squaw Creek, or for small, private weddings, the event pavilion. Celebrate with your family and friends in the Bearcat's Cabin Back Yard, which features a fire pit for s'mores, an outdoor bar, and lots of enjoyable yard games to keep everyone entertained. Bearcat Stables can host any event related to your wedding, including bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, and post-wedding brunches. Our summer venue can accommodate gatherings of up to 200 people, and we are open seven days a week from May to October. Parties with more than 75 people may need to rent a tent.

4 Eagle Ranch is a full-service event venue set on 1,100 acres near Wolcott, Colorado, approximately 25 minutes west of Vail. Homesteaded in 1885, the working ranch spans a high-country valley surrounded by sagebrush hillsides and the Sawatch Mountain Range, blending authentic Western heritage with modern event capabilities. The property is operated by The 4 Eagle Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and accommodates up to 300 guests across multiple event spaces — including the Event Center, Sawatch View Deck, Nelson Cabin, Carriage House, and The Parlor. Weddings and private events at 4 Eagle Ranch come with in-house catering from an executive chef, customizable menus, and bar service options. Tables, chairs, place settings, and flatware are provided, and a dedicated event coordinator supports the planning process from booking through event day. High-speed fiber internet is available in all venues, and the ranch property offers on-site lodging options — including a six-bedroom Homestead House, glamping tents, and RV parking — for guests traveling from out of town. Set 15 miles from Vail within the White River National Forest, Camp Hale Weddings occupies historically significant grounds once home to 15,000 soldiers of the 10th Mountain Army Division during World War II — the same soldiers who returned from service abroad to help establish Colorado's ski industry, including Vail Mountain itself. Today, the property offers an outdoor mountain wedding setting at elevation, surrounded by aspen and pine groves with 12,000-foot peaks as backdrop and the Eagle River running through the site. The venue accommodates up to 250 guests across two distinct spaces: a ceremony island set on the Eagle River featuring log benches, a four-post wooden arch, and a PA sound system, and a 40-by-80-foot white-frame reception tent with wood-stamped concrete flooring, festival lights, a full-ceiling white liner, and forced-air heat. Two complimentary log cabins — each with two bedrooms, a full bath, and a kitchen — are included with all bookings. Camp Hale hosts traditional weddings, micro-weddings, elopements, weekend buyouts, and private dinners. All alcohol is provided and served directly by the venue's staff. An outside professional event planner is required for all events.
