The private event space known as the Porter Room is an excellent choice for a wide variety of celebrations, including weddings, business meetings, retreats, rehearsal dinners, social gatherings, and many more. The Porter Room is a one-of-a-kind venue that offers an experience that is unmatched by any other establishment in the Charleston area. It shares the same marsh-front property as Holy City Brewing. It would be our absolute pleasure to give you a tour of The Porter Room! Tours of any kind are required to have a reservation in advance. Tours of The Porter Room are normally given during the weekdays between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. If you are interested in scheduling a tour of The Porter Room at Holy City Brewing, please send an email to maya@holycitybrewing.com. You or your event planner are in charge of setting up all of the tables and chairs for your gathering. It is mandatory that all decorations, rentals, and so on be picked up on the same day as your event, immediately following the conclusion of the allotted time for the event. The brewery and the venue share a parking lot, which is convenient for both businesses. Please keep this in mind as there is a high likelihood that the parking lot will become full quickly. It is recommended that people use ridesharing services. It's possible that only vendors will be allowed to park there. Please keep in mind that even though there are private events going on, the brewery is still open. We do monitor guests and provide signs indicating that the venue is hosting a private event. Holy City Brewing is responsible for supplying all of the alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol vendors are not permitted. It is permissible to use any catering company that has both a license and insurance. On request, we are able to provide recommendations for various vendors. The Porter Room does not supply any kind of table linens for its guests. The person who is planning the event is going to be responsible for providing table linens.

Dunes West Golf & River Club is one of Charleston's most exquisite and popular venues for gatherings of all kinds, located on the scenic site of the historic Lexington Plantation along the banks of Wagner Creek. Dunes West is undoubtedly one of the South's best clubs, and the perfect backdrop for any occasion or celebration, from the avenue of arching live oaks that leads to the antebellum-style clubhouse to the breathtaking water vistas to the gracious yet thorough service. It's no surprise that Dunes West is a recurrent choice among brides, given to its incomparable beauty and experienced event crew, which includes a team of culinary artists who provide some of the greatest cuisine in the area. The Food and Beverage Director will assist in the planning of all functions, including food and beverage arrangements, facility set up, and event timeline, to ensure that all elements are confirmed and agreed upon in advance. Tables, chairs, flatware, china, glasses, and linens will be provided as available and depending on the nature of the event at Dunes West Golf and River Club. The cost of any additional products that the club needs to hire will be added to the final total. The employees of Dunes West Golf and River Club will set up tables, chairs, and linens, but will not be responsible for decorations, props, or flowers. Candles, props, decorations, and other special objects should be brought in the day before or the morning of the celebration. Any objects not belonging to The Club that are left behind should be picked up the morning after the function. The Club is not responsible for any objects that are not removed promptly after an event. The guest is responsible for all floral arrangements, musical arrangements, cakes, and photographs. Vendors who have previously worked with Dunes West Golf and River Club can be recommended by the Food and Beverage Director. The room will usually be ready to decorate by 7 a.m. for a morning event, 9 a.m. for a lunch event, and 3 p.m. for an evening event. Vendor deliveries should be coordinated with the Director of Food & Beverage. The facility is open to both members and non-members of Dunes West Golf and River Club. All events require a $500 deposit or 50% of the room cost, whichever is lower, which will be deducted from the final payment. There are no refunds on any deposits. Before a deposit is received, no date will be reserved.

The Stables at Boals Farm, located just outside of Charleston, South Carolina, is an authentic functioning horse farm that used to grow sugar cane and refine it into cane syrup. Mr. Ronald M. Boals, Sr. created the Boals Family Farm in 1965, carrying on a long line of family roots in the farming, culinary, and equestrian professions that stretch back to the 1800s. The property's authenticity is evident; the structures that embellish Boals Farm were made with lumber milled from the property's trees, and the ancient syrup kettle in the Syrup House has been in the Boals family since the 1800s. Mr. Boals, Sr. started the farm with a four-generation dedication, which is today led by Mr. Tommy Ray Boals, Sr. Tommy Boals, a native of Charleston and a graduate of Moultrie High School, is dedicated to cultivating and preserving this priceless piece of family history. The Anchor Room's Australian Cypress floors and cypress trim match the seaside location. The area includes full audio/visual capabilities for displaying visitors' images or films, as well as a variety of music genres available on demand. From a wide-ranging event menu, the Anchor Room chef and his staff can suit your culinary needs. The Anchor Room offers amazing views of the Wando River from its lovely second-floor waterfront setting. The Anchor Room has a Cypress floor and two outside cocktail balconies, totaling 3,000 square feet. This unique event area includes several video displays and audio-visual equipment, as well as fully changeable lighting to suit any mood. We're one of the few reception sites in the Charleston area where the bridal party and guests can come and depart by boat. Cocktail tables, dining tables, and banquet seating are included in our room rental rate. We also have a waterfront gazebo for outdoor ceremonies and a dressing suite for the wedding party!
