Your special occasion will have a mystical air thanks to the stunning backdrop of prairie grasses, desert succulents, and cotton candy sunsets. With our contemporary take on the desert, you'll feel as though you've been whisked away to the vast plains of West Texas or the barren landscape of Baja California, despite the fact that you're only minutes from from the heart of Austin. Camino Real Ranch is all that a boutique event should be: welcoming and sophisticated without any air of pretentiousness. It is tucked away in a convenient location between Austin, San Antonio, and Bastrop. Camino Real Ranch is steeped in agricultural tradition despite its recent founding in 2019. The farmhouse on Camino was constructed in the 1940s, when the land was being used as a pig farm. The property was purchased by Mike and Vanessa Torres, who had been neighbors on the Camino de Santiago and became good friends with the previous owners. They started Heart of Gold Farm and then bought our breathtaking greenhouse from a rose farm that was located in Smithville. They started cultivating organic vegetables to help others who were less fortunate and to provide food banks in the central Texas area. They were responsible for the property's charming appearance, having constructed the Quonset Hut and furnished the farm with traditional and genuine tipis from Oregon. They brought their gorgeous new family to this area, and it was in the Quonset Hut that their son Walker learned to walk for the very first time. His cute little hand prints may be found imbedded in the concrete of our backyard patio.

Angel Mountain Events is a hilltop wedding and event venue set among the Lost Pines of Bastrop County, Texas, less than 30 miles from Austin. The setting pairs scenic pine-forest surroundings with an elegant, lightly rustic character, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions. At its center is a romantic candlelit chapel with chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling draping, and a candle-lit aisle that seats up to 125 guests. A spacious indoor reception area handles dinner and dancing for the same count, while a 1,500-square-foot hilltop patio among the pines opens the celebration to the outdoors for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or a reception under the stars. Two private dressing areas give the wedding party space to get ready, and a butler's kitchen supports the caterer. Run by longtime wedding professionals, the venue includes eight hours of access, setup and breakdown, in-house décor, an onsite manager, and complimentary parking. In-house décor and a rain contingency plan for outdoor ceremonies round out a package built for a stress-free celebration.

Perched on a bluff above the Colorado River in Bastrop, Texas, The Mansion at ColoVista is a destination wedding venue about 25 minutes from Austin's airport. The 17,000-square-foot estate sits on a golf course property, giving couples river views and sunset backdrops for ceremonies and portraits. The mansion's interior seats up to 250 to 275 guests for a peak dinner reception, with additional outdoor dinner seating available to expand guest counts further. Wedding packages include venue time ranging from several hours up to 13 or more consecutive hours, in-house sound equipment with a wireless microphone, up-lighting for the dance floor, and access to a decor closet stocked with lanterns, candles, and easels. Couples can choose from traveling, stationary, or simultaneous bar service, moving between the estate's upstairs and downstairs levels to suit their event flow. Twenty-two on-site cottages give couples and their guests a place to stay for the wedding weekend, with some packages including a complimentary one-night cottage stay for newlyweds. The venue keeps a preferred vendor list but also welcomes couples' own vendors, and does not require a minimum guest count.

Red Rock Vineyards is a boutique vineyard and winery in Red Rock, Texas, about 40 minutes from downtown Austin, founded by Dr. Sonny Rivera in 2013. The vineyard sits alongside a large olive grove, and the property produces its own natural wines and olive oil on site. The venue hosts weddings and private events for up to 250 guests in a climate-controlled indoor ceremony and reception hall, alongside several outdoor ceremony sites on the grounds. Couples can choose a venue-only rental or an all-inclusive wedding package that bundles planning, decor, florals, catering, a DJ, and hair and makeup services. Event spaces include bride's and groom's suites, a dance floor with uplighting, and three bars, two indoor and one outdoor portable bar for cocktail hour. Red Rock Vineyards also welcomes visitors Thursday through Sunday for wine tastings of its red, white, and natural wine selections.
