Our bride and groom suites are spacious, with complete baths, a grand staircase, rich landscape, wide covered patio spaces, and plenty of room for your guests. Red Door Ranch can host up to 300 people with approximately 6,000 square feet of climate-controlled space and 3,500 square feet of covered patio area. We limit ourselves to to one event per day so that you and your guests may rest and enjoy themselves. All venue rentals include: seating for 50-300 guests, round tables with Chiavari chairs, table and chair set-up and take-down, full table bussing and after-party cleaning service, full prep kitchen with ice maker, refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, warmers/buffet table, bridal suite with full bath, sit-down vanity area with salon chairs and ample natural lighting, an a kitchen.

In the beginning, it was our grandfather's small 80-acre "place in the country," which he used to enjoy the outdoors on by hunting, fishing, and simply taking in the scenery. Although he did not cultivate vegetables or raise poultry here, he did have a horse for the grandkids to ride, several cows (mainly as pets), and a Brahma Bull named Baby. He referred to this place as his "farm" (his biggest pet of all). Our parents built the home as well as the movie theater, which is now known as The Ruby Chapel, in the early 1990s, and it served as their Texas residence for the subsequent 20 years. As they became older, they "downsized" the land until it was ultimately reduced to the current size of 7 acres.

  As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating.   Fall Creek Ranch is a waterfront ranch in the Dallas, Texas area that hosts weddings for couples. Couples will find a quiet country setting with a covered bridge, a creekside ceremony site among the trees, and a barn-style reception hall here. This location is about an hour and a half away from downtown Dallas. A couple's wedding can be attended by up to 250 people at this ranch. The Fall Creek Ranch land is wooded and lush with vegetation. Couples can marry just off the creek's banks at a ceremony spot. Couples can say "I do" under a natural wedding arbor in the open air of this setting, which is surrounded by large trees. From folding white chairs laid up in the short grass, guests watch the love story unfold. The rest of the property can then be used for wedding photos, including magnificent shots among the tall trees and intimate ones on the covered bridge. Couples and guests reassemble in the barn-like reception hall for the reception. Inside this structure, you'll find charmingly rustic settings. A wooden roof is supported by metal beams, and lengthy walls are adorned with windows, allowing natural light into the space. When the sun sets and the natural light fades, the room is illuminated by ceiling light fixtures and strings of fairy lights. Couples and guests dance the night away on polished floors, adding to the romantic mood of the reception hall. One end of the long hall has a stone accent wall.
