Concord Art — formally the Concord Center for the Visual Arts — occupies the historic John Ball House (circa 1752) at 37 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts. Founded in 1917 by American Impressionist Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, it is among the oldest continuously operating art organizations in the country, with a permanent collection rooted in early 20th-century work and four rotating galleries that remain free and open to the public. The building's rooms lend themselves naturally to private events. The Roberts Gallery on the second floor spans 30 by 40 feet under a turn-of-the-century skylight, with hardwood floors, built-in speakers, a screen and presentation system, and lift access. The two first-floor galleries — French and EWR — each measure 21 by 20 feet and feature original paneling and working fireplaces, suited for cocktail receptions and stationary bars. Together the galleries accommodate up to 100 guests for receptions, 80 for a buffet, and 65 for a seated dinner.

A celebration at the Codman Estate Carriage House is a wonderful way to commemorate a wedding, corporate gathering, or other special occasion. The Codman Estate, nestled in an expansive landscape of gardens, lawns, and meadows, provides a unique country setting just twenty miles from downtown Boston while remaining close to the city. The Codman Estate Carriage House has been completely renovated and is now available for private parties and other events. This venue, with its rich wood paneling and rustic ambiance, offers a casually elegant and reasonably priced option for your wedding reception. The Italian Garden is a particular highlight of the landscape. Featuring a marble-columned pergola covered in flowering vines, this surprisingly formal secret garden is an ideal location for wedding ceremonies and receptions. In the garden, guests can relax by a reflecting pool that is surrounded by flowers, classical urns, and statues. A beautiful but less formal setting for photographs can be found in an English country garden, which was originally designed and maintained by Dorothy Codman. Your rental includes the use of the Carriage House, gardens, and grounds, as well as the freedom to create your own event from the ground up. Tables should be decorated with fresh flowers and fine linens for a formal wedding. For a summer barbecue, use checkered tablecloths and a volleyball net to create a festive atmosphere. THE ROOM OF THE BLACKSMITH We used to have a blacksmith shop in our private dining room, which was originally part of the working quarry. The forge, which was the hearth of the blacksmith, was where granite cutting tools were created, repaired, and sharpened. The Blacksmith Room is decorated with wrought-iron chandeliers, skylights, and vintage sconces that were imported from Europe. When set up as a king-style table, the room can comfortably accommodate 22 guests, or up to 30 people when set up as 5 tables of 6. The perfect setting for a rehearsal dinner, business presentation, family gathering, or cocktail party. THE ROOM WITH THE STONES There are large dark wood bamboo dividers separating this private function space from the main dining room, creating a spacious event space with stone-walled cathedral ceilings, wall mounted wine racks, and floor to ceiling windows. Tucked away toward the front of the building, The Stone Room is the ideal setting for your special occasion or reception. Can accommodate a 30-person event, complete with buffet and cake serving areas as well as gift-giving areas DESCRIPTION OF THE QUARRY ROOM Our Main Dining Room, which overlooks our granite quarry and patio, provides breathtaking views through a wall of full-height glass windows. Along with cathedral ceilings, rustic exposed wood beams, skylights, and wrought-iron chandeliers, the Quarry Room has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Eight four-person leather booths, as well as flexible table arrangements, can accommodate a total of 55 people. This space, when combined with our Stone Room, can accommodate up to 95 guests.

Needham Golf Club is a private, member-owned club incorporated in 1923 and set on nearly 50 acres of town land in Needham, Massachusetts. The course was designed by Wayne Stiles — a disciple of Donald Ross — and first opened for play in 1901. The current clubhouse, completed in 2011, offers a comfortable setting with a grill room and a covered deck overlooking the first and ninth holes. The club's Function Room accommodates up to 150 guests for events ranging from weddings and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs to corporate retreats and milestone celebrations, with a dance floor available for events that call for it. A smaller Grill Room seats up to 20 guests for more intimate gatherings. An in-house chef and professional food and beverage team handle all catering, with custom menus developed for each event.
