Chateau Michele is a family-owned event venue in Canton, Ohio, with more than 30 years of operation. Billing itself as "Affordable Elegance at a Canton Landmark," the venue hosts events ranging from casual social gatherings to formal wedding ceremonies and receptions, accommodating up to 220 guests across its three rooms and outdoor gazebo. The venue's three indoor spaces each offer a different character. The 2,400-square-foot Large Banquet Room handles full-scale receptions, while the 625-square-foot Staircase Room — featuring 22-foot ceilings, leaded glass windows, a brass chandelier, and hardwood floors surrounding a T-shaped staircase — suits ceremonies and smaller celebrations of up to 40 guests. The Canton Palace Theatre is a historic 1,488-seat performance venue in Downtown Canton, Ohio. Opened on November 22, 1926, and designed by Austrian-born architect John Eberson to evoke "a Spanish courtyard on a midsummer night," the theatre ranks among the region's most singular event settings. Its ornate columned proscenium arch, original cloud machine, and 21' × 46' silver screen — the largest in Canton — are defining interior features, alongside an original Kilgen Pipe Organ, one of only a few of its kind still operating in the country. After closing in 1976, the theatre was saved from demolition and reopened in 1980 following a major restoration effort, with approximately four million dollars invested in ongoing preservation. Today it anchors Downtown Canton's Arts District and hosts more than 300 events annually for an average of 50,000 guests. The main auditorium is available for weddings, corporate meetings, private film screenings, live performances, graduation ceremonies, and theatrical productions. A full fly system, orchestra pit, twelve dressing rooms, and professional audio, lighting, and projection equipment support productions of virtually any scale.

The Legends of Massillon is a resort-style golf club in northeastern Ohio, built around 27 holes across three nine-hole courses. The club has been recognized as one of the top 25 courses in Ohio and the fourth-best public course in the state, and its clubhouse grounds double as a setting for weddings, banquets, and private events for groups of 10 to 220 guests. Event hosting is split between two spaces on the property: the climate-controlled Vista Room, available year-round for smaller gatherings, and a seasonal outdoor tent overlooking the course's 9 East hole and a pond with a fountain. Ceremony sites are also available around the clubhouse grounds. Packages are customizable, and the venue's executive chef and banquet coordinator work with hosts to build personalized menus and proposals.

Unity of Massillon (formerly Unity Church of Truth) sits on six wooded acres in Jackson Township, near Massillon, Ohio, serving the greater Canton-Massillon area. The congregation traces back to a study group formed in the early 1900s, incorporated as the Unity Society in 1931, and settled at its present Wales Avenue location in 1976. The church hosts weddings, christenings, and celebrations of life, along with baby showers, wedding showers, recitals, reunions, and birthday parties. Its sanctuary seats up to 85 guests and includes a grand piano for live musical accompaniment. A chair lift installed in 2011 gives guests with mobility challenges access from the side parking lot directly into the lower level and up to the sanctuary. The grounds also include a Memorial Garden near the main entrance, a quiet space surrounded by memorial bricks for reflection. Couples and families arranging an event are directed to contact the church office to reserve a date on the calendar.

The Massillon Recreation Center is a city-run recreation facility in downtown Massillon, Ohio, operated by the City of Massillon Parks & Recreation and serving as the downtown trailhead for the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. For private events, the center's community banquet rooms host birthday parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and meetings for up to 72 guests each, or 144 when the two rooms are opened into a single space, with a warming kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. Two additional multipurpose rooms each accommodate 72 guests. Rooms are available after hours with a three-hour minimum, and alcoholic beverages are permitted for rentals when private security is provided. Groups can also rent the full facility for all-night "lock-in" events, a fit for after-prom parties, senior all-nighters, retreats, and workshops, with use of the aquatic center's lazy river and two 19-foot water slides, the gymnasium's two regulation maple hardwood basketball courts, and a community room with kitchen. Birthday party packages pair a room rental with time in the Aquatic Center.

Whetstone Center is a countryside wedding and event venue on over 50 acres of farmland in Marlboro Township near Louisville, Ohio, roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from Cleveland and under two hours from Pittsburgh. Operating since 2005, the property has hosted weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and business retreats for nearly two decades, and it sits alongside an on-site lake that provides a scenic, quiet backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations. The venue's main event space spans 5,000 square feet with an open, customizable layout overlooking the lake, seating up to 130 guests with overflow options for larger gatherings. Rentals include a complete kitchen for reception use, a sound system, access to the on-site chapel building, a grassy outdoor area, a patio, and tables and chairs. For corporate use, Whetstone Center offers a classroom-style training room for up to 48 people and a smaller executive meeting room for 16 to 20, both with lake views, televisions with speakers, a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi, suited to company meetings, employee training, and executive retreats. Eva Roberts serves as the venue's primary point of contact, guiding clients through the planning process.

Peacock Ridge is a barn wedding venue set on a working farm in North Lawrence, Ohio, serving couples across the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas of Northeast Ohio. The property is built around a temperature-controlled rustic barn that accommodates up to 200 guests, with an outdoor ceremony site overlooking a serene pond, a landscaped cocktail patio, and gardens framed by woodlands and wildflowers. The venue operates on a one-wedding-per-day model, giving couples exclusive access from 9 a.m. to midnight. Rental includes more than 1,000 décor pieces, two private dressing areas, a staffed bonfire with wood, a chauffeured golf cart, outdoor lawn games, full cleanup service, and wheelchair-accessible facilities. Couples are welcome to bring their own licensed caterer and well-behaved pets are permitted on the property.

Rivercrest Farm is a small family-run working farm and event space located in a valley on 120 acres of undulating hills close to the Tuscarawas River. Currently owned by the third and fourth generations of the same family, Rivercrest Farm has changed over the years from a dairy barn and truck weigh station to a venue for weddings and other events all year long. The farm's owner and chandelier junkie, Deanna Vickery, lives there with her menagerie of animals. This region, hidden in the hills of the Midwest, is brimming with history, culture, and magic. The memories of a century ago are kept in the barn, which has been handed down through the generations. The old barn served as a dairy farm after it was constructed in 1918. We started organizing weddings and parties for couples from all around the region in 2013. From the beginning of April to the middle of December, we host events. From the Sunday before Christmas through the end of March, we are closed for events.

The Springfield Township Gazebo centers on the Vince Mealy Bicentennial Gazebo, an open-air structure on the shores of Springfield Lake in Springfield Township, a suburb of Akron, Ohio. The gazebo overlooks the water and borders a walking trail, making it a well-suited setting for outdoor ceremonies and community events — including the township's own Springfield Rocks! Summer Concert Series, a free Friday evening series held from June through August. Adjacent to the gazebo, the Center on the Lake is a recently remodeled indoor event space that can accommodate up to 200 guests, with tables and chairs provided for 102 seated guests. The building features full-wall windows overlooking the lake, a full kitchen, a bridal suite, and an outdoor deck. Also on the property, the Lakefront Pavilion offers a smaller outdoor gathering option for up to 40 guests. All three facilities are managed by Springfield Township and available for individual or combined rental, accommodating weddings and receptions, baby and bridal showers, birthday and graduation parties, family reunions, and corporate events.
