Two friends spotted the potential in the rundown building in 2014 and transformed it into an event space that officially opened on October 11, 2014. As a company, we're in the business of providing people with what they want... and if that includes a massive private event room loaded with dozens of games and cool, tasty beer, then you've arrived at the perfect spot, my friend. As our event space has grown to accommodate up to 300 people, we've held a broad range of events, including corporate meetings, fundraisers, alumni gatherings, class reunions, wedding receptions, baby showers, and the list goes on and on! In addition to a three-vessel, 40 BBL brewhouse, 620 BBL of fermentation space, and 320 BBLs of brite beer storage, we have a 620 BBL of fermentation space. Clarification of all of our beers is accomplished with the help of a GEA centrifuge. Red Hare, like with a small number of other craft breweries, is fortunate in that it has a full-time biochemist and a fully equipped laboratory for quality control. We were the first craft brewery in Georgia to can its beer, and we were the first brewery in the world to use the evercan, an aluminum can with a high recycled content. With a 40-head filler and six-head seamer, our canning line is capable of packaging nearly 480 cases every hour (about 11,520 cans)! It is possible for us to process 50 BBLs of beer per day on our kegging line.

The property accommodates up to 250 guests for both ceremonies and receptions, with pew seating at the ceremony location and tables and chairs for the reception included in each package. The barn, restrooms, kitchen, and patio are all available during rental, alongside a curated selection of tabletop décor including burlap runners, mason jars, wood disks, and lanterns. As evening settles, thousands of twinkling bulbs and a fire pit area with s'mores give the property its warmest character. Hightower Falls is a 100-acre outdoor event venue nestled in the Appalachian foothills of North Georgia, approximately one hour west of Atlanta. At its heart stands an 80-foot spring-fed waterfall alongside the ruins of a historic gristmill — a site with roots stretching back to 1845, when Elias Dorsey Hightower built a three-story stone mill that once ground wheat and corn for the surrounding region. The property survived the Civil War undisturbed and operated its mills into the 1930s before the Walls family acquired it in 1995 and opened it for private events. The venue spans 100 acres with 2.5 miles of hiking trails, 11 camping cabins, and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodating between 2 and 200 guests. Hightower Falls hosts weddings, elopements, photo shoots, showers, anniversaries, family reunions, celebrations of life, and corporate events.
