Two 8-foot butcher block top bars, two 12-foot butcher block top buffet tables, lantern centerpieces, cocktail tables and round and rectangular tables are included in the main room's 110-by-40-foot footprint. Our ceiling and wall string lights provide a romantic ambiance that would complement any theme, and our color changing spot lights and accent pin spot lights are included with all of our rentals to further enhance the romantic ambiance. The museum is a public service institution, and it is held responsible to the public by government, self-imposed, and peer-imposed rules and regulations. The mission of the Heritage Farmstead Museum is to collect, conserve, and explain the history of the Blackland Prairie during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries while making proper use of the authentically restored Farrell-Wilson Farmstead, which is a recognized historic site.
