The Gardenia Wedding & Event Venue, located in Valley View, TX, offers their space available for happy couples with a variety of guest sizes. On 40 acres of land, this exquisite venue has a classic white chapel and a large reception area for a quiet, romantic setting. As you walk down the aisle, you'll be surrounded by a panoramic panorama of apparently endless green pastures. This event area is named after the proprietors' favorite flower, the flower of heaven, according to legend. Hunter and Christine Scheffler were inspired to develop the property when looking for a wedding destination for their own wedding. They desired a location that was close to the city yet far enough away to have a pastoral feel. With The Gardenia, which is only a 20-minute drive from Denton, Hunter and Christine combined the best of both worlds. It is conveniently accessible, yet it also provides enough room in the gorgeous countryside to make you feel at ease. The Gardenia Wedding & Event Venue has a courtyard, reception hall, and chapel that can accommodate 50 to 300 people. Couples have 5,300 square feet of floor space in the reception hall, which is flanked by 20-foot gallery windows for natural light and views. For outdoor ceremonies and cocktail celebrations, their outdoor bar area, covered porch, and arch rentals provide a nice, pet-friendly choice. Separate lounge areas, private restrooms, private balconies, and large TVs are available for prenuptial leisure in the wedding party suites on site. Air conditioning and heaters are provided in both the indoor and outdoor spaces to keep you and your visitors comfortable in any season. Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments.
