Malaysian food draws influence from India, Guang Zhou, Hokkien, Teochew, and Hakka provinces due to the early 1900’s migration for tin and railroad labor demand. As such, Food Terminal’s menu features a high variety of Asian street foods with heavy emphasis on Malaysian cuisine. A uniform and linen factory transformed into a spacious event space. Since 1994, we have operated as a family-owned company. I grew up with my parents who owned and ran a uniform and linen firm that is still in business now. When they launched a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee in 2001, they catered to some of the most elite clientele in the greater Atlanta region. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia, we learnt all about the ins and outs of being gracious in the hospitality business. In 2016, we sold the company, and in 2017, we renamed the space Factory Atlanta to reflect the new ownership. Ideally, we would like to collaborate with people who have a clear picture in mind for their project, their special day, or their milestone event. The Showroom is 2400 square feet and can accommodate events of up to 100 people. The glass garage door provides views of the spectacular railroad lines in the back and has enough space to accommodate a truck or a car. A lasting impression on your guests will be created by the Showroom. The Factory Floor provides you with 5600 square feet of creative flexibility. Because of the concrete flooring and 18-foot ceilings, you may design a really unique experience to your needs. You may let your creativity run wild when you have the Showroom at your disposal.

This space is illuminated by a spectacular wall of tall windows, which, when combined with an independent volume control sound system and an accessible flat screen television, creates an inviting and delightful ambience. There is a meal and beverage minimum requirement. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available for all events, upon request, from our Executive Chef. Any dietary limitations that exist among the group members should be communicated to the Event Manager in advance. If you prefer to hold a private event at St. Cecilia, the church can be closed to the public for your convenience. The complete dining room, bar, and balcony spaces will be purchased as part of the sale of the restaurant. Catering services for up to 150 people in cocktail hour, passing or stationed hors d'oeuvres options, and seated lunch or dinner are available, as well as a reception-style event catering service for up to 250 guests. For buyout events, there is a food and beverage minimum that is determined by the day of the week and the time of day the event takes place.
