The Freight Shed sits at Riverwalk Landing on the York River in historic Yorktown, Virginia. Built in 1935 by the National Park Service after a storm destroyed much of the original waterfront, the building served as a terminal for Baltimore steamships until 1952 and later operated as a post office, before an extensive 2005 renovation coincided with the opening of Riverwalk Landing. Today the roughly 1,950-square-foot venue hosts weddings, reunions, banquets, concerts, and business meetings and lectures for up to 130 seated guests. Glass arched doors open onto a large brick riverside plaza, with river views and sunsets forming a backdrop for photography, while an adjoining tented area extends the space for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dancing. A Freight Shed rental includes use of the venue, tables and white chairs suitable both indoors and under the tent, the adjacent tent space, and access to a caterer's kitchen. The venue is available for events from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Williamsburg Golf Club is a private golf club in Williamsburg, Virginia, whose course traces back to 1958, when Ben Levinson sold 601 acres of farmland to the newly formed Pleasant View Corporation. Architect William F. Gordon designed the original course, with the front nine completed in 1959, the clubhouse in 1960, and the back nine in 1961; the course was later reworked by architect John LaFoy in 2009 with new tees, fairways, greens, bunkers, and cart paths. The clubhouse houses a pro shop, restaurant, and bar alongside banquet facilities for private events. Its Ballroom accommodates up to 120 guests for a plated reception, with larger group sizes possible for a strolling reception, and features neutral-toned walls, rich molding, and golf course views. It can be paired with the adjoining Marble Room and Foyer, finished in black-and-white marble tile, for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, or buffet stations. Room rental includes tables, chairs, a dance floor, white linens, chafing dishes, and china, making the club an option for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary dinners, and other private celebrations conveniently located off Interstate 64.
