The Gordon-Lee Mansion is a historic antebellum estate situated on seven acres at 217 Cove Road in Chickamauga, Georgia. Construction began in 1840 under James Gordon and was completed in 1847, with bricks made on the property grounds. The mansion later passed to the Gordon family's descendants, and the property eventually came under the stewardship of the City of Chickamauga. The estate holds a singular place in Civil War history as the only structure left standing that was used by both Union and Confederate forces during the Battle of Chickamauga in September 1863. Union General William Rosecrans established his headquarters in the mansion's parlor before the battle, and the grounds served as a field hospital for both armies during the conflict. The property also hosted the 1889 Blue-Gray Barbeque, attended by 14,000 Civil War veterans, which led directly to the creation of the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park. Today the mansion is available for weddings, receptions, luncheons, and private events. The grounds accommodate outdoor ceremonies on the front porch, in the courtyard, or at the Formal Garden's Gazebo, with the mansion's interior available for smaller gatherings. A banquet tent and dressing rooms for the wedding party are also available on site.

The climate-controlled barn serves as the reception hall, its rafters strung with lights and its layout customized for each event. An indoor ceremony option inside the barn features a garden-inspired chandelier and natural light from three sides. The Barn at High Point Farms offers all-inclusive packages as well as à la carte and elopement options, with in-house floral design, event styling, day-of coordination, and catering available. The centerpiece event space is the Wallace Building, an all-wood structure with a log cabin aesthetic and a complete wrap-around porch that seats up to 90 guests for sit-down dinners or accommodates up to 120 in a theater arrangement. Interior details throughout the property reflect the mill's working history — hundred-year-old wooden beams, antique bottles hung from the rafters, ceiling fans running on a pulley system, antique furniture, and a handmade bar give the space genuine character rather than manufactured charm. Guests and couples enjoy the freedom to select their ceremony and reception location on the grounds, with the sounds of the creek flowing over the handcrafted rustic dam as a natural backdrop.
