The National Geographic Society and the Climate Science Alliance are collaborating to offer a series of evening talks and daytime lessons on climate change in 2021, which will be the first time. No general admission fee is required to visit the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA), which is located in historic Balboa Park, and visitors are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of paying admission. MOPA is made accessible to everyone through this voluntary contribution policy, which is based on how much one wishes to contribute. THE SAN DIEGO HISTORY CENTER, located in historic Balboa Park, offers entertaining exhibitions that will complement any event, party, or celebration. Our museum features a large Atrium, Theater, Conference Room, and nine galleries in a lovely and expansive setting. The Prado is a National Historic Landmark in Balboa Park. After a comprehensive renovation and modernization, The Prado reopened in 2000. The building's architecture, artwork, sculptures, alcoves, gardens, and fountains were all restored during the three-year makeover. The venue's authenticity is enhanced by over two dozen original, hand-painted wooden stencil designs on doors, as well as the elaborate hand stenciled ceilings and beams. The "Women of Tehuantepec" sculpture by Donal Hord is still on display in the renovated central courtyard's fountain. In the heart of Little Italy, on India Street, Ristorante Illando is within walking distance of the Porto Vista Hotel & Suites, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Downtown, The Trolley Stop, Maritime Museum, San Diego County Administration Center, and Waterfront Park.
