White Deer Park Nature Center is a LEED Gold Certified facility operated by the Town of Garner Parks and Recreation Department, set on the edge of forest and wetlands within a 96-acre park in Garner, North Carolina. The 2,500-square-foot building houses an indoor classroom ringed by floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that open onto the surrounding woodland landscape, along with a large covered outdoor deck. The Nature Center Classroom accommodates up to 60 guests in banquet, theater, or classroom configurations. Rentals include 13 rectangular buffet-style tables, 60 chairs, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, and a dedicated on-site facility attendant. The surrounding park offers 1.5 miles of paved trails, a native butterfly garden, and open green spaces — a natural backdrop well suited to small receptions, showers, and private gatherings.

Historic Market Hall is a full-service event venue in the heart of Raleigh's Moore Square District, occupying a landmark building dating to 1914. The space blends original architectural details — exposed brick, timber beams, and stone fireplaces — with modern design and a scratch kitchen led by Executive Chef Chris Hill, who brings more than 39 years of hospitality experience to an American Southern culinary program. Two primary event rooms, Park View and Market View, each accommodate up to 300 seated guests and can be used together for gatherings of up to 400 seated or 700 in a cocktail configuration. A covered outdoor patio on Blake Street adds capacity for up to 80 guests, and a city street-closure permit can open the cobblestone streets of City Market for expanded receptions. Two private VIP suites — one overlooking Moore Square, the other facing City Market — serve as dedicated preparation spaces for wedding parties. The main level offers fully accessible, street-level entry. Four public parking facilities are located within one block of the venue.

The Stockroom at 230 occupies the second floor of the historic Carolina Trust Building on Fayetteville Street in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The building dates to 1902, and the venue's name traces directly to its past: McLellan's Dime Store operated in the building from 1920, using the upper floors as stockrooms — a history the space now wears as a point of distinction. At 4,748 square feet, the room combines exposed brick walls, warm hardwood floors, and lofty lattice ceilings strung with market lighting. Expansive windows bring in natural light throughout the day, while a floor-to-ceiling chalkboard wall and a handcrafted live-edge wooden bar give the space its character. The venue seats 50 to 175 guests for receptions with a dance floor and accommodates up to 275 for cocktail-style events. The Stockroom at 230 hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate meetings, speaking engagements, and social gatherings. Rentals include tables and chairs, a catering prep kitchen, A/V equipment, and a dedicated venue host. Elevator and ramp access make the space fully accessible.

The Glass Box is a modern event suite on the fifth floor of 230 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows that frame city views, the suite features hardwood floors, a private outdoor balcony, and a pantry nook with sink and refrigerator — allowing stylish celebrations without leaving the floor. The space accommodates up to 30 seated guests or 45 for cocktail-style receptions. It is well suited for micro-weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, business meetings, and intimate social events. Each rental includes lounge furniture, tables and chairs, a coat rack, a private restroom, and an on-site venue host. The Glass Box is accessible by elevator and is available Monday through Thursday year-round for social and corporate events, with weekend availability based on bookings at the adjacent Stockroom at 230. The venue is one of four event spaces operated by Empire Events in downtown Raleigh.

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences — the largest natural science museum in the Southeast — offers one of downtown Raleigh's most distinctive settings for private events. Spread across two connected buildings at 11 and 121 West Jones Street, the museum hosts gatherings ranging from intimate afternoon meetings to multi-floor evening receptions for up to 2,000 guests. Evening events unfold among the museum's signature exhibits: the Mountains to the Sea hall on the second floor, anchored by a two-story waterfall; the Prehistoric North Carolina gallery, with its towering fossil displays and the Terror of the South exhibits; and the SECU Daily Planet Theater, whose curved screen spans three floors of the Nature Research Center. Burning Coal Theatre Company makes its home in the historic Murphey School Auditorium in downtown Raleigh, a former schoolhouse the company restored and reopened in 2008 after a $1.5 million renovation. Founded in 1997, Burning Coal reworked the building into a flexible theatre whose seating, platforms, and staging can be rearranged for each occasion. The auditorium is available to rent for weddings, receptions, performances, meetings, and presentations. Its adaptable open floor and historic character suit everything from wedding celebrations to multi-day corporate workshops, and the theatre's staff work with renters on lighting and mood to shape the room for each phase of an event. Burning Coal takes pride in being an inclusive wedding space that welcomes all couples, including LGBTQ+ couples.
