The focal point of Lake Park, the Victorian gazebo was built around 1890 during the era when the town was developed as a summer resort — the lake itself was man-made, with the island created to hold the structure. A boardwalk was added in the 1930s and the bridge standing today was built in 1990, connecting the island to the surrounding park. The gazebo was fully restored in 2008. The town rents the gazebo for weddings, ceremonies, anniversaries, and private events. The structure features four electrical outlets and eight interior hooks for hanging baskets or decorative arrangements. With two gymnasiums, multiple fitness rooms, an indoor aquatic facility, and a variety of rentable event spaces, the center is built to accommodate a wide range of occasions — from business meetings and corporate banquets to birthday parties, reunions, and wedding receptions. The Evergreen Room seats up to 200 guests for banquets or 260 in theater-style configuration and can be divided into smaller sections to suit more intimate gatherings. For larger events, the full gymnasium accommodates up to 500 guests banquet-style. A/V equipment — including projectors, flat-screen TVs, a sound system, microphones, and stage sections — is available to support presentations and entertainment.
