The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a one-of-a-kind 127-acre botanical garden and historical attraction in the midst of Arcadia's historic Rancho Santa Anita. Would you like to host your next event at the Arboretum's lovely and serene setting? Weddings, photography, videography, corporate gatherings, and special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and showers can all be carried out at various locations throughout this beautiful park. For wedding ceremonies or celebrations, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden provides a naturally stunning and distinctive venue. The Bauer Lawn (with its surrounding fountains), the Queen Anne Cottage lawn, the Rose Garden, the Waterfall/Meadowbrook, and the Celebration Garden are also popular spots. Our romantic Rose Garden, tropical waterfall, and lush flowers and plants make for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Our wedding season runs from April until October, when the clocks change for Daylight Savings. After 5:00 p.m., all ceremonies and receptions commence. You can pay entry and tour the various places at your leisure, or you can organize a private tour with the Wedding Coordinator. The Peacock Cafe is located in the garden and offers outside seating with a magnificent view of the Arboretum. The Arboretum does not allow outside food. The Café can accommodate catering for weddings and other special occasions booked at the Arboretum. Friendly Hills Country Club is a private country club situated in the rolling hills of Whittier, California, approximately 15 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Established in 1968, the club occupies a parklike setting that includes a championship golf course designed by renowned architect Jimmy Hines, lush grounds lined with grand pine trees and flowering jasmine, and a stone-faced bridge over a scenic lake — all of which serve as natural backdrops for weddings and private events. The club's Craftsman-style clubhouse spans two levels and accommodates celebrations from 25 to 230 guests. Because of its location at the intersection of Greenleaf Avenue and Hadley Street, which served as the site of the original Whittier Town Center, it was referred to as the "Four Bricks" by residents of the community. We hope that, in the same way that Whittier's Four Bricks became the heart of the community, the Four Bricks will serve as a second home for the community that Whittier has grown to be in the same manner. In recognition of our commitment to preserving and celebrating the history and heritage of Whittier, we chose this name for our organization. The grounds feature the fifteen-room adobe residence with interpretive displays, a traditional horno (bread oven), a dovecote, and historic gardens — making it a distinctive outdoor setting for weddings, ceremonies, and private events.
