This beautiful venue is 3 miles from Southern Hotel and features the aromatic beauty of the Jasmine Courtyard, the Grand Oaks Ballroom, and the Acorn Room and Terrace. A stunning 400-year-old live oak stands tall in the heart of the preserved historic grounds. The original bell tower and limestone grotto remain unchanged as well as the Italian marble throughout the interior. With the high standards of excellence and historical elegance of the Southern Hotel, we have reopened the doors to this stunning venue and welcome you to The Greenwood.

Fleur de Lis Event Center is an all-inclusive wedding and event venue in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the Northshore about 35 minutes from New Orleans. Housed in a movie theater transformed over three years, the space was designed to evoke a New Orleans spring evening — stucco walls, brick columns, gas lanterns, and signature star-lit ceilings. Each ballroom opens onto its own private courtyard with brick walls, greenery, and a permanent wrought-iron ceremony dome and chandelier. Three distinct spaces: the Pontchartrain Ballroom for approximately 100 to 500 guests, with a functional balcony seating nearly 100 and an illuminated architectural cake backdrop; the Jazz Ballroom for approximately 50 to 300, with two indoor fountains, a brick-top bar, and a dedicated picture room; and the Private Restaurant for up to approximately 100, ideal for rehearsal dinners, showers, and smaller celebrations. No hard guest minimum. Each space has its own entrance, courtyard, restrooms, bar, and staff, so two events run simultaneously with no sound transfer. Every ballroom wedding includes 18 hand-passed hors d'oeuvres, a full Louisiana-style buffet, and staffed action stations — served from the moment guests enter the reception rather than waiting for a buffet announcement. Packages include the House Plus Wine open bar for the full three-hour reception, tables, chairs, linens, china, décor, custom lighting, setup and breakdown, cake cutting and service, and comprehensive on-site wedding coordination with a lead bridal coordinator and bridal assistant who work with you throughout planning — not a stranger on your wedding day. Also included is the Fairytale Dinner, a private meal for the newlyweds before their grand entrance. Indoor and outdoor ceremonies are available, and every outdoor ceremony has an attractive indoor backup in your own ballroom at no additional charge. Berry Creek Cabins is a seven-acre retreat in the woods of Washington Parish, Louisiana, established in 1990 and designed to bring groups together in a natural setting. The property offers eight individually named cabins — from the Treehouse to the Creekside and the houseboat A Shore Bet — each fully furnished with a full kitchen, private bathroom, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, accommodating four to twelve guests per unit. For events and gatherings, the centerpiece is a 2,700-square-foot Party Deck and adjacent indoor pavilion, available for exclusive reservation by the hour and suited to weddings, receptions, family reunions, church groups, and large-group getaways. The common area also includes a game room, hot tub, fire pit with firewood delivery, and a fishing pond. For groups venturing off-property, Berry Creek partners with local outfitters offering tubing, ATV recreation, and lake access within easy reach of the cabins.
