The quarry's natural features — granite cliffs rising 70 feet above crystal-blue water, a cascading waterfall, a white sand beach, and a lush green lawn — form the ceremony and reception backdrop. An open-air pavilion accommodates up to 250 seated guests for weddings of all sizes. The venue also offers elopement packages for groups of 15 or fewer. With more than 35 years of hosting weddings, the venue operates on an all-inclusive model that bundles the space with farm-to-table catering, bar service, and waitstaff. Vesuvius Vineyards is a historic vineyard estate and event venue set on more than 700 acres of private property in Iron Station, North Carolina, about 30 minutes from Charlotte. The property centers on a home built in 1792 by General Joseph Graham — the oldest standing home in Lincoln County — a historically registered landmark that has welcomed weddings and special events since 2009. The open-air arbor overlooks the property's stream and surrounding grounds, serving as the primary reception space for up to 200 guests. The arbor can be enclosed and heated for winter events, and the property offers multiple outdoor ceremony locations along with an open-air chapel available as a covered backup. Guests have room to explore the grounds, strolling alongside the creek and across the covered bridge. For weddings, the upstairs of the home includes a grooms room and a bridal suite with two rooms for hair and makeup and a private bathroom. Warrior Golf Club is a semi-private golf facility located on Highway 152 between China Grove and Mooresville, positioned centrally between Charlotte and Greensboro with easy access to both I-85 and I-77. The club opened in July 1999 with a championship Par 71 course designed by Stan Gentry, featuring five sets of tees ranging from 4,423 to 6,609 yards across seven miles of cart paths and rolling terrain. The onsite Champions Bar & Grill is open to the public and available for private events and functions, offering a full food and beverage menu. The Arbors Events is a farm and woodland event destination set on a 112-acre tree farm in Cleveland, North Carolina. What began as a tree nursery in 2003 evolved into an event venue shaped by thousands of ornamental and shade trees, manicured lawns, majestic oaks, and perennial gardens spread across western Rowan County, near Lake Norman. The venue's primary event space, The Arbors, is a custom-built banquet facility constructed from stone, reclaimed barn wood, and cedar shakes. Its 4,700-square-foot heated and cooled interior centers on a grand fireplace and includes a full bar and catering prep area, while the adjacent outdoor spaces feature a wildflower field ceremony area, two fire pits, and a three-acre pond. A separate reception facility, The Lodge, adds 4,200 square feet of climate-controlled banquet space with a similar rustic character. Together, the property accommodates groups from 50 to more than 350 guests for weddings, corporate retreats, and community celebrations. An on-site guest house sleeps eight, allowing wedding parties to host the full weekend on the property.
