GENERAL INFORMATION Several points of interest are listed below. Above all, we recognize that this is YOUR party, YOUR occasion, and YOUR meal. SERVICE Individually plated lunch and dinners are provided, as well as a family type alternative. Everyone will enjoy a selection of things from one of our family style meals. FEES FOR SERVICES A 10% tax will be charged to the entire cost of food and beverages (Gratuity not included). A 3% event fee will be added to the final bill. GUARANTEES A $250 reservation fee is needed at the time of the reservation for all parties. The function's final payment must be made on the day of the event. When a reservation is canceled within 60 days of the function date, the reservation fee is nonrefundable. MINIMUMS FOR THE ROOM There are no additional fees for certain rooms. During dinner hours, however, there are room minimums that must be satisfied. During lunchtime, there are no minimums. Our special events coordinator can walk you through the process. FRESH FLOWERS A fresh flower arrangement is placed on each of our banquet tables. Custom arrangements can be made for a fee. We import antique and vintage furniture and accessories primarily from France, but also from Italy, Spain, England, Greece, and Turkey. We also have a wonderful Gustavian Swedish collection. Froggy's French Café has been a beloved fixture on Chicago's North Shore since 1980, when founders Gregg Mason and Chef Thierry Lefeuvre opened its doors in Highwood, Illinois. Now in its fifth decade and maintained in partnership with Bill and Sheri Cartwright, the restaurant has built a reputation for seasonal French cuisine prepared with fresh, distinctive ingredients — earning recognition from Zagat and Wine Spectator along the way. For private events, Froggy's offers three dedicated spaces. The Greenhouse Bar accommodates up to 25 guests and is available Saturdays for lunch and Sundays for events, set beneath warm lights and lush greenery. The Wine Cellar holds up to 50 and is accessible daily with customizable layouts suited to seated dinners and intimate receptions. The Dining Room seats up to 80 and is available Sundays for lunch or dinner and Saturdays for lunch events. Throughout all three spaces, artwork by Jacqueline Lefeuvre gives the rooms a distinctively French character. In-house catering is available for on-site events, with off-site catering handled through a partner company.

The Schram Memorial Chapel, named after famed Navy Captain Richard A. Schram and originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II, served as a place of worship for thousands of servicemen and women passing through this military installation. The Village of Glenview and Kimball Hill Builders moved this historic non-denominational chapel from its original position after the Naval Air Station closed. The Schram Memorial Chapel is now held by the Glenview Park District and can be rented by groups, individuals, and organizations. Its rich history and impressive religious construction make it a very unique location for important milestones and memorable occasions. Both the rehearsal and the ceremony will be staffed by a caretaker. The caretaker is in charge of making sure the building is available to the renter during the agreed-upon rental hours, as well as setting the temperature and audio equipment. They are unable to direct your event, but are delighted to answer questions and make recommendations. The rehearsal can take place on any day (a week before, the night before, etc.) as long as the required day and time are available. The rehearsal will last one and a half hours. In addition to the ceremony rental, this time must be paid for. Typically, five flower stands, two altar shelves, 20 pews, and two podiums are all decorated. Except for tape on an aisle runner, we do not allow the use of nails, glue, or tape. Ribbon, tulle, or rubber bands can be used to connect pew decorations. Decorations are usually put up approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the wedding. Renters and their service providers have access to the building during the agreed rental term.

The Redfield Estate, located within The Grove, a National Historic Landmark, is an exceptional special event and wedding site that expertly blends history and nature. More than 150 acres of forest, ponds, large lawns, exquisitely groomed gardens, fountains, and urns loaded with seasonal flowers may be found at this breathtaking spot. The enchanting house has original leaded glass windows, a fireplace, and charming dressing rooms to prepare for your day. Your wedding album will be full of amazing images as you dine and dance on our stunning 30′ x 60′ outdoor-covered, stone pavilion. Strings of bistro lights and lamp-lit tranquil walks provide evening lighting. Redfield Estate offers a refreshing alternative from the conventional conference settings, with rooms ideal for both big group sessions and small breakout groups. Our venue will leave a lasting impression on private business social occasions. "Windy Pines," now known as The Redfield Estate, was built by Bertha Redfield and her second husband, Paul Petersen in 1929. The architect’s arrangement of the west wing, with its fireplace and balcony at an unusual angle to the remainder of the house, was influenced by the Prairie style of architecture. Overall, the effect is reminiscent of a country house in northern Europe. It is particularly lovely due to its variation of line, leaded glass windows, stone, stucco, and slate materials. It had a formal rose garden on one side of the home and a "natural" environment intended to attract wildlife on the other, in addition to its numerous distinctive design features. Even now, deer and other wild creatures can be seen through the windows.
