The first floor of the English-style structure is full of charm, with a large living room with a fireplace, piano, dining room, kitchen, alcove, and access to the lovely patios and grounds, which can be utilized for outdoor events. ​ The Lodge is an ideal location for weddings and receptions. The venue's interconnected event spaces — The Gallery, The Grill, and The Rotunda — can accommodate up to 270 guests across a combination of intimate gatherings and full receptions. The Gallery features cathedral beams, exposed brick walls, large picture-frame windows, and draped café lights; The Grill pairs cathedral ceilings with a permanent 22-foot wooden and copper bar, plank flooring, and views of the golf course; and The Rotunda offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the landscaped gardens with a five-foot metal crystal chandelier as a centerpiece. Carriage Greens Country Club has been welcoming celebrations to its 114-acre grounds in Darien, Illinois since 1968. Family-owned and operated by the Broderick family, the club has hosted more than 1,500 weddings over its 38-plus years in the banquet business — bringing private-club amenities and service to events at an accessible price point. The venue's two ballrooms, the Grand Ballroom and the Exclusive Ballroom, accommodate gatherings from 50 to 350 guests and connect to oversized outdoor decks overlooking an 18-hole championship golf course. Both rooms have been newly redecorated and each event includes the use of two bridal suites. All-inclusive packages cover the room, linens, bar service, plated or family-style dinner, and gratuity, with no surprise costs at the end of the evening. The Boathouse, located on the banks of Lake Ellyn in west suburban Glen Ellyn, is the ideal location for your next corporate or social occasion. The lovely lake's shore is ablaze with natural vegetation that complements the present season, and the big deck off the east side of the Boathouse offers breathtaking views of the lake and its inhabitants. This adaptable room can sit up to 120 people comfortably, or up to 150 people without tables. When hiring the Boathouse, you can also hire the adjacent patio and deck (for an extra price). The Lake Ellyn Boathouse is entirely accessible to those with disabilities; contact for more info on specific accommodations. From the beginning of March to the middle of December, the Boathouse is available for rent seven days a week. The Boathouse can be reserved up to a year ahead of time. All tours are by appointment only and are typically available Monday through Friday during regular office hours.
