The Bell House is a two-room music and events venue located in Brooklyn, New York. The main room has a 25-foot-high wooden, vaulted ceiling, and a 450-square-foot stage which makes The Bell House ideal for various performances, large gatherings, weddings, and celebrations. THE HISTORY OF THE BELL HOUSE The Bell House, a state-of-the-art 8,000 square foot facility with a separate performance space and lounge, is centrally located between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens. Constructed in the 1920s from an old printing factory and boasting an 88 foot long and 25 foot high magnificent wooden barrel vault ceiling, The Bell House has quickly established itself as a major center for arts and entertainment in Brownstone Brooklyn. THE MAIN EXHIBITION ROOM The Main Room at The Bell House boasts 25 foot wooden arched ceilings, a 450 square foot stage, and unobstructed views of the stage from any part of the room, making it an ideal space for performances, large gatherings, weddings, and celebrations of all kinds. This space can easily accommodate 500 people standing or 200+ people seated at a time. In addition, guests can take in the scenery from the elevated platform of the beautiful 30′ wooden bar that runs along the West wall. This space can be used in conjunction with the Front Lounge for parties and events with a capacity of up to 600 people. THE LOUNGE AT THE FRONT The Front Lounge of The Bell House, which is located directly in front of the building, retains its warm and intimate character while comfortably accommodating up to 150 people. This space boasts a stunning 26-foot oak bar that serves handcrafted and local beers, as well as a comprehensive wine and liquor selection. Groups of all sizes can relax on vintage furniture and mingle in soft lighting that is accentuated by large windows that let in plenty of natural light during the day and allow for starry skies at night. Whether you're in need of a space that’s stripped down to the basics including tons of natural light and high ceilings, or in need of a unique space for an intimate party, this is the venue for you. The Pink Moon is the brainchild of floral designer Rebecca Shepherd. Rebecca has been in the floral industry for over a decade producing all kinds of events but specializing in weddings. She opened a retail flower shop 3 years ago and found that every single person that entered her store was stunned by the 25 foot tall ceilings, the massive chandelier and the general beauty of the space. Walk in customers would step right over a black rope that was put up for boundaries and look around the space in awe! This building, once an old door factory with two floors, was gutted by the architectural genius and landlord. These walls, this corner, this neighborhood married with the floral expertise of Rebecca and her team have led her to open this very special, unique and intimate space. The STEM Building at Kean University brings together two signature event spaces — a glass-walled atrium and a sixth-floor rooftop terrace — on a 180-acre campus in Union, New Jersey, less than 30 minutes from New York City. The Glass Atrium & Rooftop accommodates up to 175 seated guests in a space defined by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a natural pond and outdoor porticos suited to photography. One floor up, the STEM Rooftop opens to sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and seats up to 125 guests — a setting well suited to wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and birthday celebrations. Over seven generations of the Livingston and Kean families, the original 14-room home grew into a 50-room Victorian mansion that now houses collections of antique furniture, decorative arts, and clothing spanning more than 250 years of American history. Alder Manor is a 72-room Renaissance Revival mansion in Yonkers, New York, designed in 1912 by the architecture firm Carrère and Hastings for mining magnate William Boyce Thompson. Named for Thompson's Montana hometown of Alder Gulch, the estate sits on more than six acres of classically inspired gardens filled with authentic Roman artifacts imported from Italy in the early twentieth century. The interior is defined by a succession of original architectural features: marble floors, walnut and oak paneling, a rare English-style trompe-l'oeil ceiling, a 15th-century Italian stone fireplace, an actual 16th-century Italian church façade incorporated into the structure, a three-story staircase, and an indoor tiled pool topped by a stained glass window. Many of the 72 rooms retain original Renaissance paintings and historic artifacts. The grounds command views of the Hudson River and the Palisades. Alder Manor is available for film, photo, and commercial shoots, with convenings, retreats, private events, and weddings anticipated in 2026.
