Two spaces are available for rental. The main museum building at 9 Main Street accommodates up to 50 guests across two levels of exhibits devoted to 18th- and 19th-century craftsmanship. The adjacent Education Annex at 23 Main Street offers Renaissance Revival architecture with high ceilings and generous natural light, suited for receptions, workshops, fundraisers, and community gatherings of up to 75. Morven Museum & Garden is a National Historic Landmark in Princeton, New Jersey, built around 1757 by Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The estate served as New Jersey's official Governor's Mansion from 1945 to 1981, housing five governors, before reopening as a museum and public garden in 2004 following a multi-phase restoration. More than 260 years of history are woven into the grounds, from the Colonial Revival gardens to the period architecture of the mansion itself. Three event spaces accommodate weddings, receptions, and private gatherings of varying sizes. The Stockton Education Center is a modern indoor venue with views of the pocket gardens, welcoming up to 115 guests for cocktail receptions or 85 for seated dinners, with WiFi, accessible restrooms, and 60 on-site parking spaces. Kelli Connell's twenty-year study with one model is an introspective examination of sexuality and gender roles in intimate relationships that form self-identity. The project investigates identity polarities such as the masculine and feminine psyche, the irrational and rational self, the outward and interior self, and the motivated and resigned self. Body language and clothes define the dualities of the person by mixing several photographic negatives of the same model in each image. The significance of these photos rests in their portrayal of internal conflicts as an outward object: a photograph. The spectator is presented with "constructed realities" through these pictures. Rentals and Photoshoots Holding your event at the Alice Austen House gardens is an opportunity to participate in New York City history. At a young age, I was inspired to pursue a career in the culinary arts. When I first arrived in the United States, I enrolled in courses in hotel and restaurant management at New York Technical College. The opportunity to work in France, at the prestigious Hotel de France, presented itself to me in 1998. Later, I made my way into the New York City restaurant industry, where I worked as a pastry chef at the Russian Tea Room. I was awarded two gold medals by the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique's Salon of Culinary Art for my work in the kitchen. Having worked at places such as the Glen Oaks Country Club, City Hall, La Grenouille, and Gascogne Bistro, I decided to branch out and open my own restaurant on Staten Island in 2007. Over the course of seven years, the Alor Cafe has evolved into a fine dining and music venue. Today, I am the proud father of three children, and I live in Brooklyn with my wife. As a business owner, I take pleasure in giving back to my community. I also appreciate that Staten Island's accessibility allows for affordable ownership while still remaining connected to the city's energy. I recently ended my relationship with my long-term partner, but I'm ready to move on to the next phase. My current project is the "Better Burger" Project for the Chefs of America Foundation, on which I am currently working as a member. I've taken on this responsibility with the goal of demonstrating to the Staten Island community that eating healthy, sustainable foods is a wise choice and that this is the direction in which the restaurant market is moving.
