Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a 58-acre California State Park perched at 420 feet elevation in Culver City, southwest of downtown Los Angeles. From the summit, panoramic views sweep across the Los Angeles Basin, the Pacific Ocean, the Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountains, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula — a setting that makes it one of the most distinctive event venues in the region. The park's Visitor Center houses a glass-and-concrete pavilion, a native plant garden, a Skyline Terrace, a small theater, and a conference room — collectively accommodating gatherings from intimate meetings to receptions of up to 200 guests. The Pavilion and its adjacent outdoor spaces are available for weddings, corporate retreats, educational events, and cultural celebrations. Rentals include tables, chairs, and on-site parking. All food service must be provided by a licensed caterer, and the facility is fully accessible. Tiato Kitchen + Venue is a California Asian restaurant and event destination located at 2700 Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica. Set within an eco-chic space designed by owner Catherine An, the venue combines Vietnamese-inspired flavors with a warm, modern aesthetic — high honeycomb ceilings, raw concrete floors, and reclaimed wood panels lend the interiors a distinctive character, while a lush outdoor garden patio brings open-sky charm to gatherings of all kinds. Three distinct spaces accommodate events ranging from intimate private dinners to large-scale receptions and corporate functions. The Patio, an outdoor garden surrounded by herbs, mature trees, and vibrant plant life, hosts up to 220 seated or 400 standing guests. The Indoors offers a transformable layout with 211 café seats, 17 bar seats, and capacity for 300 guests at a standing reception. Michael's Santa Monica has been a landmark of California cuisine since 1979, when founder Michael McCarty opened the restaurant on Third Street in Santa Monica. Situated in the South Bay region of Los Angeles, the facility serves as the official home of the LA Galaxy (Major League Soccer), US Soccer, and US Cycling, and regularly hosts professional sporting events, concerts, and private gatherings across its expansive grounds. The complex encompasses three primary athletic venues — a Soccer Stadium, a Tennis Stadium, and the VELO Sports Center velodrome — alongside several dedicated event spaces suited for private events of all sizes. From intimate boardroom meetings to large-scale outdoor celebrations, the venue accommodates groups ranging from a handful of guests up to several thousand. For larger events, a restaurant buyout requires a food and beverage minimum of $17,500 - $25,000 (plus service charge and sales tax), with the amount varying depending on the season, the size of the party, and the day of the week. A Friday rehearsal dinner or a Saturday wedding (in the late spring or early fall) are both very popular choices for couples. Our guests are not charged any room fees, location fees, or rental fees for any of the services that a restaurant would normally provide. Valet parking is available for a fee of $10 per car. Luis Carrizo is a Master Chef who has worked all over the world. Chef Luis Carrizo, of Salvat, Argentina, was introduced to South American, Argentinean, and Mediterranean cuisine by his parents, who were born in Spain. Argentina and Brazil were the final destinations for his professional training and culinary education. Following graduation, he worked his way up the ranks to become the Executive Chef for Events at the Hotel Turista in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the prestigious Hyatt Hotel in Santiago, Chile, among other places. Luis Carrizo Salvat traveled to the United States in the late 1990s to further his professional and personal interests in cooking.
