The Prado is a National Historic Landmark in Balboa Park. After a comprehensive renovation and modernization, The Prado reopened in 2000. The building's architecture, artwork, sculptures, alcoves, gardens, and fountains were all restored during the three-year makeover. The venue's authenticity is enhanced by over two dozen original, hand-painted wooden stencil designs on doors, as well as the elaborate hand stenciled ceilings and beams. The "Women of Tehuantepec" sculpture by Donal Hord is still on display in the renovated central courtyard's fountain. No general admission fee is required to visit the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA), which is located in historic Balboa Park, and visitors are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of paying admission. MOPA is made accessible to everyone through this voluntary contribution policy, which is based on how much one wishes to contribute. THE SAN DIEGO HISTORY CENTER, located in historic Balboa Park, offers entertaining exhibitions that will complement any event, party, or celebration. Our museum features a large Atrium, Theater, Conference Room, and nine galleries in a lovely and expansive setting. Weddings, cocktail parties, social hours, meetings, and fundraisers are all possible at the museum. An event at the San Diego History Center means celebrating and enjoying the company of coworkers, friends, and family while surrounded by our exquisite location. It is strongly recommended, but not needed, to hire a wedding organizer. You are investing in professional experience and peace of mind by doing so. Weddings are not coordinated on-site at the History Center. We're happy to collaborate with a trusted network of Preferred Caterers who are required to provide food, beverage, and bar service for your event. All of our Preferred Caterers provide our clients with the greatest level of service, adhere to museum catering regulations, and are properly licensed.

The Moniker Warehouse is a modern industrial venue in downtown San Diego's dynamic East Village that lends itself to weddings, concerts, fundraisers, art events, and whatever else you can throw our way. The adaptable urban setting is a blank canvas waiting to be altered by your creativity. A bright and airy drinking room leads into a rustic main space with exposed pillars, original white brick walls, market lights, and garage access. The space can accommodate receptions of up to 160 people, mix-and-mingle events of up to 250 people, and concerts of up to 300 people. In early 2022, the Warehouse will undergo some interesting upgrades. We're expanding the main space by 1,500 square feet, adding a bridal room, and updating the lighting. Sound equipment, tables, seats, lighting, a bridal suite, and a full list of vendors are all included in the venue rental. The parking garage can accommodate 30 automobiles, plus there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area.

Stone archways, caged chandeliers, panoramic windows, and terraced outdoor spaces define the campus across multiple connected structures. Seven distinct event spaces accommodate private gatherings ranging from an intimate 35-guest seated dinner in the Turquoise Room to a 150-guest reception on the Sunset Terrace — a paver ceremony terrace with built-in market lights and vineyard views.
