Roxborough State Park is a 3,413-acre Colorado state park located approximately 20 minutes southwest of Denver, set against one of Colorado's most dramatic natural backdrops: the Fountain Formation, a series of tilted red sandstone spires that originated more than 300 million years ago. Designated a National Natural Landmark in 1980, the park encompasses distinct plant communities and diverse wildlife — from mule deer and black bears to 145 bird species — making it a setting unlike any traditional event venue. For intimate ceremonies and special events, the park offers two outdoor overlooks along the Fountain Valley Trail. The Fountain Valley Overlook, a short walk from the Visitor Center, features a cleared area framed by the park's iconic red rock formations and accommodates up to 25 guests. The Lyons Overlook, situated half a mile into the valley, includes a wooden deck with sweeping views of the Fountain Formation and also accommodates up to 25 guests. Both locations are available for three-hour rental blocks and require a Special Activity Agreement approved by the park manager.

Built in 1899 and designed by the Denver firm Varian and Sterner, the Tears McFarlane House is an 8,700-square-foot Colonial Revival mansion situated on the north edge of Cheesman Park in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Designated as a Denver historic landmark in 1972 and listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1976, the property stands as one of the finest residential examples of the Colonial Revival style in Colorado. The mansion's interiors preserve notable original details, including a Tiffany stained glass window featuring a fall leaf motif in seven colors on the main staircase landing and a hallway mirror salvaged from the historic Windsor Hotel. The first floor offers elegant gathering spaces — the Parlor, with its hand-crafted bar and fireplace, and the adjoining Dining Room, with crown molding, custom chandeliers, and refinished hardwood floors — that together accommodate first-floor receptions for up to 75 guests. Below grade, the Lower Level Conference Room and the Executive Board Room serve smaller corporate meetings and private gatherings. Evergreen Red Barn is a historic barn event venue set on 11 acres in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, located in Evergreen, Colorado — roughly 30 miles west of Denver at an elevation of 7,723 feet. The barn was built in 1958 and fully renovated in 2000. Originally operating as Meadows at Marshdale, the property became Evergreen Red Barn in 2018 and has since hosted more than 400 weddings, along with family reunions, graduation parties, retirement celebrations, vow renewals, and other private events. The venue's two primary spaces accommodate up to 115 guests each. The Red Barn is a three-story structure with a main-level Great Room for up to 80 seated guests and a wrap-around upper balcony for an additional 45 seated guests, plus a lower-level indoor bar area suited for cocktail hour. The Mountainside Arbor is an outdoor ceremony site available May through October, nestled among tall pine trees and aspen along a short winding path from the barn. Evergreen Red Barn operates as an open-vendor venue — couples may select their own caterer, photographer, and DJ. A pre-approved list of licensed and insured bartenders is required for alcohol service, with beer, wine, and champagne permitted on-site.
