The Filipino Community Center in Waipahu, Hawaii occupies a three-story, 50,000-square-foot building on two acres near the historic Oahu Sugar Mill. Recognized as the largest Filipino community center in the United States and outside of the Philippines, the center was inaugurated in 2002 and was designed with Spanish-inspired architecture that reflects Filipino heritage. The center's two indoor ballrooms — the Casamina Ballroom and the Flores Ballroom — each span approximately 2,871 square feet and seat up to 190 guests individually, or 380 guests combined. The Consuelo Courtyard provides an open-air alternative for up to 100 guests, suited for weddings, luncheons, and evening receptions. All rental spaces include round tables, banquet chairs, a podium, a drop-down screen, a dance floor, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Germaine's Luau has been hosting O'ahu's original backyard-style family luau since 1976, making it one of Hawaii's longest-running beachfront luau experiences. Set on the shores of Kapolei — roughly 27 miles west of Waikiki — the venue offers unobstructed ocean views, a soft-sand beach setting, and a backdrop that drew Disney's production team to film the live-action *Lilo & Stitch* on location here. In 1977, the Honolulu Country Club, a private golf and country club, was founded. Local civic leaders and prominent entrepreneurs from around the world make up its diversified and illustrious membership. HCC is easily accessible from anyplace on Oahu and is only ten minutes from both the international airport and downtown Honolulu. Its Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane-designed 18-hole championship golf course. The expansive two-story Clubhouse offers Members a wonderful perspective of the lush O'ahu hills and the unbelievably blue skies. At night, the fairways are illuminated by shimmering city lights. The interior of the clubhouse is lined with rare Hawaiian Koa wood, which gives the ballrooms and passageways a rich, regal, and distinctively Hawaiian ambiance. Ke'ehi Lagoon Memorial is an 11-acre waterfront event park along the shores of Ke'ehi Lagoon in Honolulu, managed by the Ke'ehi Memorial Organization (KMO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in partnership with Hawaii's Department of Land and Natural Resources. Established as a living memorial to honor veterans — particularly those who gave their lives in service — the park has grown into one of Oahu's most versatile community event destinations, available seven days a week for weddings, corporate gatherings, luaus, memorial services, and private celebrations. The park offers seven rental venues across its manicured, oceanfront grounds, ranging from intimate indoor meeting rooms to halls accommodating up to 400 guests.
