The Headlands Facility for the Arts is a multidisciplinary, international arts center committed to artists, the creative process, and the creation of new, original ideas and artwork. What we do is only as significant as where we are. Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, at historic Fort Barry in the Marin Headlands, a component of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, our site consists of a cluster of artist-rehabilitated military structures. Facility Rental: Conveniently located near home, but a world away. Headlands is a one-of-a-kind meeting spot for a variety of events and celebrations. Individuals and organizations can use our facility for classes, meetings, conferences, photo shoots, weddings, and other events. Headlands' venues are great for groups wishing to connect, brainstorm, discuss, celebrate, and think creatively in a quiet setting, just fifteen minutes from San Francisco and convenient to North, East, and South Bay regions. Our campus is located within the 2,100 windswept acres of hills, cliffs, coves, and beaches that make up the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and is housed within artist-renovated 1907 period army barracks. Headlands' renovated and re-imagined historic military barracks have been the venue of several events that combine great cuisine, wonderful people, and a spirit of community and collaboration off the beaten path (and off the grid). Presidio Golf & Concordia Club is a private membership club and historic event venue set within the Presidio of San Francisco, approximately ten minutes from downtown. The Tudor-style clubhouse, dating to the club's founding in 1895, was fully renovated and restored in 2016, blending historic character with updated facilities and sweeping views of the golf course and the San Francisco skyline. The clubhouse offers four distinct event spaces accommodating gatherings from intimate dinners to full-buyout receptions of up to 250 guests. The Main Dining Room seats up to 120 guests with golf course and city views, while the Main Bar accommodates 120 guests for pre-dinner cocktails or 50 for seated service. Red Poppy Art House is a 650-square-foot multidisciplinary arts venue occupying a storefront corner at 23rd and Folsom in San Francisco's Mission District. Founded in 2003, the space carries a charm likened to an old-world café crossed with a painter's studio and living room — a character built into the bones of what was once a painter's living quarters. The venue hosts over 150 diverse performances, exhibitions, workshops, and artist residencies each year, drawing musicians, poets, dancers, and visual artists from across the Bay Area and internationally. For private events, the space accommodates up to 39 seated or 49 standing guests, making it well suited for intimate wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, and company gatherings. The maximum capacity of guests at The Rose Garden is 150. The address is J.F. Kennedy Drive and 14th Avenue in Golden Gate Park. Wedding Site Features: - Located at the pedestrian entry to GGP at Fulton and Park Presidio Avenue, the Rose Garden provides a tranquil retreat from the city. - Roses are typically in full bloom from the middle of May through the beginning of June. During the winter months, the Rose Garden's roses are not in bloom, thus visitors should avoid visiting during this time. - There are no chairs or tables available at this location. - Max capacity for this site is 150 people. - It is not permitted to use an amplifier at this place. - Restrooms are located in the 14th Avenue East Picnic Area, which is directly adjacent to the Rose Garden and is the most convenient location. - Vehicle entrance to the Rose Garden is prohibited on Sundays and every Saturday from the first Saturday in April to the last Saturday in September, as a result of routine road closures in the Greater Grand Rapids area.

The garden is named after Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, who is famous for reigning longer than any previous Dutch monarch. The Dutch Bulb Growers' Association donates flower bulbs every year. The garden's tulips are a major attraction for tourists and wedding groups alike, and are best seen between March 15 and April 15. The lack of the option of amplified music is a requirement for securing a wedding date at the Queen Wilhelmina Garden. This means you will have to come up with different ways to include music in your ceremony or reception, like as hiring live musicians or using light recorded sound - like a 'boom box.' Sorensdale Recreation Center is a community event venue in Hayward, California, operated by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Located at 275 Goodwin Street in a quiet cul-de-sac setting near Tennyson High School, the center underwent a full renovation in 2016 and now offers a modern, welcoming environment for private events. The main hall accommodates up to 130 guests and features 20-foot ceilings, large windows that fill the space with natural light, and a commercial kitchen equipped with stainless steel surfaces. A stage and on-site parking round out the facility's event amenities. Sorensdale Recreation Center is available for a wide range of private gatherings — weddings, receptions, auctions, theatrical performances, and community celebrations alike. Rental hours run Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday, 9 AM to 8 PM, with a three-hour minimum. Rentals of Facilities The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has a variety of venues available to rent for your next celebration or happy occasion. Each venue has its own own design components and aspects; make a reservation today and celebrate tomorrow. Minimonies at Ravenswood At Ravenswood Historic Site, we are introducing outdoor "minimonies" (mini-ceremonies). Exchange your vows in an outdoor environment with up to 50 guests while keeping all aspects of social distancing in mind. Choose from a romantic garden gazebo, a rustic covered tree patch, or the classic shaded tree archway for your ceremony. Included are the bride's room, tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, and a building attendant. Applicants have the option of hosting a small event with a champagne toast and individually prepared food. A minimum of four (4) hours is required; any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rental rate. Facility Event Rental Process at Ravenswood Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. All other rental fees must be paid 45 days before the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations.
