The Palace Arts Center brings together two historic theaters in the heart of Grapevine's Historic Main Street District, just minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The Palace Theatre, an Art Deco-style building from the 1940s, was saved from demolition in 1991 when the Grapevine Heritage Foundation acquired it, and today seats 432 guests across its main floor and balcony. The Cross Timbers Winery is housed in the historic Brock Family farm home, which has been restored. It was built in 1874 by Dr. Dorris, who had relocated to the Grapevine Prairie from Starkville, Mississippi at the time of its construction. Grapevine's oldest structure has been acknowledged as one of the city's five oldest structures, and it has been restored to its original design and spirit by its current owners.
