St. Florian Fiber Farm and Event Venue sits on 55 acres on the edge of Florence, Alabama — close enough to Florence, Muscle Shoals, and Huntsville to be convenient, yet far removed from traffic. The property features three formally landscaped lawns with fish ponds, lily ponds, open pastures, towering trees, and a rose-covered trellis, along with resident alpacas, peacocks, horses, and donkeys that bring the grounds to life. The venue accommodates up to 100 seated guests and includes a 35×40 white wedding tent with lighting, seating and tables for all guests, and a pool patio area with overhead fans and lights ideal for buffet tables, live bands, and a dance floor. A wisteria-covered gazebo offers an additional spot for a band or DJ setup. Onsite kitchen facilities — featuring a double oven, gas burners, and two refrigerators — are available to any licensed caterer. In addition to weddings and receptions, the farm welcomes bridal showers, group retreats, luncheons, and happy hour gatherings. Joe Wheeler State Park is a 2,550-acre resort park set along the shores of Wheeler Lake in Rogersville, Alabama. Part of the Alabama State Parks system, the park combines natural lakefront scenery with a full-service lodge, championship golf, and dedicated convention and event facilities — offering a versatile destination for weddings, corporate meetings, and private gatherings. The lodge houses four distinct indoor event spaces ranging from the intimate Cedar Room, which seats up to 30 guests, to the combined Convention Center configuration that accommodates up to 300 guests for a banquet or 500 in theater seating.
