Designed specifically for events our unique open plan allows for all types of configurations from smaller events of 50 up to 400 people. This modern open concept venue invites patrons to inhabit large-scale mural installations while enjoying craft cocktails, beer, wine and globally inspired social plates with three unique bars as well as the main space which seats over 100 people in one large high ceiling space.

Fort Belvoir Golf Club sits just south of Washington, D.C. on two championship 18-hole courses, the Woodlawn and the Gunston, whose original 18 was designed in part by Robert Trent Jones and later expanded to a 36-hole complex by Thomas Ault Clark and Associates. A PGA Class "A" professional staff oversees the grounds, considered among the finest military golf facilities in the world. The club is a natural fit for golf outings and group gatherings, with outing packages starting at $70 per person that include catering, pro shop gift certificates, driving range balls, personalized cart signs and scorecards, a scoreboard, special event markers, and a dedicated registration area. As a National Trust for Historic Preservation site, we believe that all Americans have a right to learn about their own history by visiting the places that surround us. This historic site is dedicated to filling in the gaps of our cultural heritage, particularly the stories of enslaved and freed Black communities, as well as the stories of their descendants. Take a look at our interpretation themes. All of our properties are on 126 historic acres in Alexandria, Virginia, and they include two historic properties and one working farm. It was built in 1805, and it was given to Nelly Custis and Lawrence Lewis as a gift by President George Washington. The site was used as a plantation, and the couple enslaved over 90 people while operating it. The Pope-Leighey House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is also located on the grounds, where visitors can explore and be inspired by the Usonian architecture and a vision for affordable, well-designed housing that Wright envisioned. We co-own the land with our partner, Arcadia Farm for Sustainable Agriculture, whose mission is to create a more equitable and sustainable local food system in the greater Los Angeles area. Our activities are spread out throughout the grounds and trails, and they are designed to promote learning as well as wellbeing as well as respite and enjoyment of the natural environment and its history. Immersive experiences, exhibitions, performances, and thought-provoking art are used to bring these stories and discussions to life. Across the grounds of Woodlawn and Pope-Leighey House, two historic homes situated on 120 acres of agricultural land farmed by our non-profit partner Arcadia, are intertwined tales of community transformation. 1789 is a fine dining establishment in the heart of Georgetown's historic residential district. Chef Samuel Kim prepares seasonal American cuisine. Daytime events can be held in a variety of rooms, while evening events can be held in an elegant private dining room with an equestrian theme. The setting is ideal for smaller weddings, rehearsal dinners, and brunches. Infrastructure and Capacity It is possible for couples to celebrate their wedding with groups of up to 125 people. This venue, which is housed in a renovated Federal house, has four rooms where couples can dine with their friends and family. For a seated dinner, the Middleburg Room can accommodate up to 56 guests in comfort. Guests will be transported to the nearby Virginia hunt country when they enter. One of the room's architectural highlights is a ceiling covered with old barn siding from the New England countryside that dates back to the 1800s, as well as massive beams from a post-and-beam home in Vermont. The bay window at the east end of the room has a view of 36th Street and the Georgetown neighborhood below. Decorative lithographs depicting colorful hunt scenes are displayed on the walls, which are partially covered with hand-planed pine boards and partially covered with hand-planed pine boards. The Garden Room can accommodate up to 18 people. The slatted shades on the floor-to-ceiling windows in the French doors on one wall allow in additional light through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Light-colored walls with floral prints give the room a light and delicate feel, as do the floral prints. This room, dedicated to George Washington, contains Currier & Ives prints from George Washington's time as President, paintings and prints of Georgetown University, as well as historical maps of the city. Putting a dapper Harvard grad in the same bar as some burly bikers on M Street may seem unlikely, but that's exactly what happened when the young Stuart Davidson decided Georgetown needed its own neighborhood saloon. Upon leasing the two-room B&J Restaurant, he would rename it after the Scottish river Clyde, and transform it into a gathering place for diners and cocktail drinkers who, like himself, "would rather eat in a saloon than drink in a restaurant." With its own bar and private indoor balcony, the Piedmont Room is located in the Chinatown/Penn Quarter, one of Washington's most vibrant neighborhoods.
