The Elkins Estate serves as the best event venue. The structure was constructed in 1898 by William L. Elkins, and the interior was created by the well-known French interior designers Allard et Fils. Flourtown Country Club is a historic Philadelphia-area property known as the region's only farm-to-table country club, with catering handled by its exclusive partner, Seedling and Sage. Inside, the clubhouse retains original touches like a fireplace, French doors, exposed stone, crown molding, and original hardwood floors, giving the space a vintage-chic character alongside its more recently renovated interiors. The club's 6,000-square-foot Ballroom opens through double French doors onto the Tented Veranda, a 3,600-square-foot stone patio outfitted with ambient market lighting, rattan chandeliers, and a 20-foot built-in oak bar. Grey Towers Castle sits at the heart of Arcadia University's 76-acre campus in Glenside, Pennsylvania, just 12 miles north of Center City Philadelphia. Built in 1898 as the family home of sugar baron William Welsh Harrison, the Castle was designed by architect Horace Trumbauer, who drew inspiration from England's Alnwick Castle and later designed the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1985 and has been named among the most beautiful castles in the U.S. by Architectural Digest. Weddings and private events unfold across the first floor of the Castle, where guests enter the three-story Great Hall beneath a gilded, barrel-vaulted ceiling before moving into the Dining, Rose, and Laura Minerva Korman Mirror rooms. The Mirror Room was crafted in France and features a painted ceiling by Francois Lafon depicting the four seasons, while the Rose Room reflects the ornamentation of Louis XV-era architecture. For weddings, the arboretum offers exclusive access to its woodlands, meadows, and gardens, with couples choosing from five distinct ceremony locations across the grounds, including the Rose Garden and the Log Cabin. Cocktail hour can take place at Out on a Limb, a treetop platform roughly 40 feet above ground with views across the property, before guests move to a tented reception on the Front Lawn strung with bistro lighting. Full weddings accommodate up to 175 guests, or 155 with a designated dance floor, and run from April through October. The arboretum also hosts smaller ceremony-only bookings and self-guided micro ceremonies for up to 15 people.
