A $200 fee is charged for the services of a security guard. A refundable security deposit of $800 is also requested at the time of check-in. In the context of its Southern California location, e Garden is a hybrid art form that combines traditional elements of Japanese garden design with contemporary elements. They had a shared love of the outdoors, and gardening in particular, drew them together. When it came to self-development, Loraine and Earl recognized the importance of travel, well-being, education, and art as a means of expression. They are reflected in the Garden and in other projects that they have funded, such as the CSULB International House, Miller Children's Hospital, and the ongoing work of The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation, which they established in memory of their parents. At this time, we are unable to accommodate docent-led tours due to a lack of available space. When planning to visit the Garden during regular hours, groups of 15 or more people must contact the Garden in advance by phone (562) 985-8420 or email (jgcoordinators@csulb.edu), regardless of whether or not a docent-led tour is requested. A minimum of two weeks notice is required, and group visits may be subject to a fee if they are not pre-arranged. The specifics will be worked out between your group coordinator and the Garden's personnel.

Casa de Lago is situated on the shores of a picturesque lake in Eisenhower Park in Orange, California. Casa de Lago features floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the lake and park, as well as a garden setting with mature trees. Daniel Lyons Catering is one of the preferred catering vendors for Casa de Lago, and they provide an all-inclusive event package for weddings, corporate functions, birthdays, and other special occasions. Daniel Lyons Catering is located in the heart of downtown San Diego. Having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Chef Daniel Lyons is a Master Chef in his own right. Chef Daniel Lyons completed his one-year European apprenticeship at the Hotel Europa in Lucerne, Switzerland, following graduation from the Culinary Institute of America. Chef Daniel returned to the United States after completing his culinary training in Europe, where he completed his three-year American apprenticeship at the Omni International Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, he held positions as Garde Manager and Banquet/Pastry Chef in four and five-star hotels, including the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta and the Newport Beach Marriott. He was the Banquet Chef at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, when it first opened its doors. While working as a Chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta, Chef Lyons prepared seven-course sit-down and buffet dinners for President Carter and President Ronald Reagan, respectively.

The Villa Del Sol is a Spanish Colonial historic landmark nestled in the heart of downtown Fullerton, California. Originally built in 1923 as the California Hotel — designed by local architects Frank Benchley and Eugene Durfee and constructed at a cost of $136,000 — the property has been transformed into a mixed-use destination anchored by a charming al fresco courtyard that serves as its signature event space. The courtyard welcomes up to 200 guests for outdoor weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, corporate gatherings, and birthday celebrations. Beautifully landscaped with islands of palm trees and flowering greenery, the space features a Spanish-tiled bubbling fountain, ivy-covered breezeways, graceful archways, wrought-iron railings, and towering turrets — creating a naturally photogenic setting throughout. A second-floor terrace provides an elegant setting for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, while European accent lighting sets the ambiance for evening events. Events are scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with music options including live band, DJ, Mariachi, and acoustic performers.
