The history of Locke Falls Farm begins in the early 1900s, when stagecoach and rail travel were both common. Couples two-stepping through the hand-built dance pavilion could be heard in our antique barn setting. Visitors can now ascend to the homestead using the stones that originally served as the barn's foundation. The traditional sleeping porch, the bridal bedroom with soaking tub, and the stone patio for the rehearsal dinner or cocktails are just a few of the attractions of the wonderfully renovated farmhouse. Locke Falls has added a lot of distinctive features while maintaining the integrity of the farm. The ideal location to exchange vows is defined by our natural wooden arbors, which provide sitting along with rustic tables and benches. Ohana Family Camp is a week-long family retreat on Lake Fairlee in Vermont, run by the Aloha Foundation. Its name comes from the Hawaiian word for family, community, and a circle of good friends, and the camp brings families and friends of all ages together to reconnect outdoors. The property sits with the foothills of the Green Mountains to the west and Lake Fairlee below, with scenic back roads and hiking trails minutes away. Families stay in simple cabins with fieldstone fireplaces, kitchenettes, and one to four bedrooms, or in one of six platform tents with four twin beds each, electricity, and covered porches. The Main Lodge sits at the center of the upper camp, with a large meeting and dining area, a central fireplace, a spacious porch, and the main kitchen. The Dowds' Country Inn & Event Center is a 20-room country inn in Lyme, New Hampshire, operating out of a historic building renovated in 1989 from an 18th-century home. Tuckerman Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded in 1998 by Kirsten Neves and Nik Stanciu in Conway, New Hampshire, at the gateway to the White Mountains. What began in a garage on Main Street in Conway Village has grown into a full-scale production operation at 66 Hobbs Street, with distribution spanning New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.
