The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex and the arch at Washington Square Park in Manhattan, among other landmark structures. Our flagship Gowanus location features a spacious indoor main bar area with swooping arches, wooden columns, marble banquettes, and an industrial aesthetic. The main bar leads out into our 3,200 square foot backyard adorned with ivy walls, hornbeam apple trees, and a large ornamental hop trellis. For a more intimate setting or in addition to our main space, Tiny Montgomery, upstairs, includes a private bar, two private restrooms, and full sound and A/V capabilities.
