Set on 11 acres of gardens, wooded grounds, and Lake Michigan bluffs in Racine, Wisconsin, the DeKoven Center traces its roots to 1852, when the campus was founded as Racine College by the Episcopal Church. Under Rev. Dr. James DeKoven, who arrived as Warden in 1859, the grounds were reshaped in the style of an English college quadrangle, and the community's original dining Refectory became what is now known as the Great Hall. The campus later served as a retreat center under the Community of St. Mary for fifty years before the DeKoven Foundation took over its stewardship in 1999. Today the historic campus hosts weddings, receptions, and private events across several spaces: the Great Hall seats up to 225 guests, Assembly Hall up to 125, and St. John's Chapel up to 202 for ceremonies, with outdoor courtyard ceremonies available from May through October. Rentals include banquet tables and chairs, table linens, and a dedicated event liaison, bartender, and security staff. The grounds are also home to the Circle of Peace Labyrinth, and the DeKoven Center offers gymnasium rentals and two Gatehouse apartments for overnight stays.

The Wisconsin Country Club is a private club in Milwaukee, set along an 18-hole golf course built in 1954 by designer William Diddel and renewed in 2014 with a $3.5 million makeover by architect Bruce Hepner. Founded in 1926 as Brynwood Country Club, the property spent 14 years as the country-club campus of The Wisconsin Club before joining Concert Golf Partners in June 2023 under its current name. Weddings of up to 300 guests unfold across nearly 5,000 square feet of entertaining space in the clubhouse, with get-ready rooms for the wedding party and a choice of outdoor ceremony sites across the manicured grounds — including settings with panoramic views of the 18th green. The culinary team creates custom menus served as cocktail-hour hors d'oeuvres or as plated, family-style, or buffet meals, with bartenders pouring signature drinks and premium liquors from an open or cash bar. Private and semi-private rooms handle everything from board-style meetings to large conferences, supported by audio-visual equipment and complimentary WiFi, and the wheelchair-accessible clubhouse offers on-site parking. The Landing at 1841 is a restored 1841 barn set on the banks of the White River amid 50 acres of Wisconsin prairie and an onsite vineyard, just outside Burlington. The land was once a gathering place for the Kickapoo Tribe in the early 1800s and later a stop on the Underground Railroad under farmer True Worthy Durgin; the property was purchased by Tim and Renee Richter in 2015, after decades as a studio housing thousands of works by artist and peace activist Matt Lamb. Restored to its original vintage character and outfitted with modern amenities, the whitewashed barn welcomes guests beneath original rustic wood beams and grand chandeliers, with a copper-topped built-in bar and French doors opening onto a deck overlooking the lawn and river. Heating and air conditioning let the space host events year-round, and both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, along with getting-ready space in the Trueworthy House and The Loft, support weddings for up to 200 guests. The Landing also hosts retreats and small private and corporate events, from banquets to holiday parties.

Pulaski Inn is a family-run banquet and catering facility in Cudahy, Wisconsin, that has hosted wedding receptions and special events for over 100 years. The building was established in 1905 by the Wojtysiak family as a hall with a stage, hosted its first wedding reception in 1916, and became known for Polish theatrical performances in the 1920s. During Prohibition it operated as the "Pulaski Soft Drinks Store and Hall," where roller skating on its oak flooring drew crowds. The Glowacki family took over in 1927, expanding the building with a basement excavated during the Great Depression and exterior renovations in the late 1950s, and introduced in-house catering in the late 1960s. Brian and Karen Swessel purchased the business in 1998, becoming its third family ownership. The venue offers two banquet rooms for private events. The Alpine Room, with cathedral ceilings and original hardwood floors, seats up to 350 guests for dinner and includes a raised mezzanine for a band, DJ, or additional seating. The Heritage Room accommodates up to 100 guests and suits showers, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, retirement parties, and small weddings or anniversaries. Brian, a 1981 culinary arts graduate, oversees the kitchen and menu customization, while Karen coordinates directly with clients. The owners are personally on-site during events, offering the consistent, personalized service the venue is known for.

616 W Virginia St, Milwaukee, WI 53204, USA
    • Spaces for 200 Guests

Great Lakes Distillery is Wisconsin's original craft distillery, founded in Milwaukee in 2004 by Guy Rehorst as the first distillery to open in the state since Prohibition. It pairs small-batch copper stills with locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers, producing vodka, gin, whiskey, Roaring Dan's rum, brandy, liqueurs, absinthe, and seasonal spirits alongside a non-alcoholic botanical option. Located on the edge of Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood near the Menomonee Valley, just south of downtown, the distillery doubles as a gathering space for guided tours, tastings, and private events. Its tasting room features a copper-topped bar, seating with high-top tables, and an outdoor patio, while the working production floor, with spirit barrels and a pot still on display, can also be booked for private gatherings such as company happy hours, birthday parties, and family reunions. A retail area in the tasting room carries the full lineup of spirits along with glassware and apparel, and food service rounds out the experience for groups spending an evening among the stills.
