It is situated on nearly 300 acres of fields and rolling hills, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. This location, which is not far from Sugarloaf Mountain, serves as a retreat as well as a magical backdrop for couples who want to exchange vows before the mountain. It is a unique and memorable location for wedding celebrations. Comus Farm has a long and illustrious history, which adds to the allure of the location. The farm, originally used as a dairy farm, was in the same family for generations until 2019. The farmhouse was built in the late 1800's, rebuilt in 1921. It has been renovated to provide modern conveniences while also preserving the historical integrity of the structure. During the growing season, farm animals and lush vegetation can be found on the property, as well as in the surrounding area. Overall, the location has a postcard-worthy quality to it as a result of this. This comes at a significant additional cost of $1,200 to $3.000. Make sure that you add that into the quote for the cost of the wedding venue. 4) Select your own vendors- We do have a preferred vendors list but absolutely allow outside vendors as long as they meet our simple requirements. 5) BYOB- We have two local liquor stores that will deliver anything that you want in coolers iced up and ready to go on your wedding day. They will return after last call and refund you for anything that was unopened. Shiloh Manor was once a part of a vast land grant owned by Lord William Fairfax, and it is now a private residence. The property, which has been in the family for generations, has played an important role in the history of Loudoun County, supplying goods to the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, hosting encampments of both the northern and southern armies during the Civil War, and today serving as an elegant and historic setting for weddings and other special events. Located just north of Purcellville, Shiloh Manor has a seating capacity of 100 people and is easily accessible. Our facility's 25-foot-high ceiling, numerous windows, recessed ceiling lighting, and brass chandeliers all contribute to the creation of a bright and airy environment that is fully air-conditioned and heated. A seamless and outstandingly memorable experience for you and your guests is our goal. We have three restrooms, a private bride's suite (with private restroom), professional catering kitchen, musicians loft, and excellent acoustics to accomplish this.
