It is a rare opportunity to host an outside garden wedding or other special event at the Landmarks Art and Garden Center, which is a carefully restored historic cottage and garden from Tiburon's first years. It is a garden consisting of a big flat lawn and four terraces connected by curving brick paths, all of which have spectacular views of Richardson Bay. The property is a square acre with stunning views of Richardson Bay. There are benches scattered throughout the garden, each with a unique perspective of the harbor and neighboring hills. Heritage trees, a rose arbor, vibrant floral beds, and a pagoda birdhouse are among the elements of the landscape. Nestled in the garden is the farm house, which was erected in the 1870s when Tiburon was a thriving railroad hub and has been renovated. In addition to two bright and airy rooms, the cottage has an old wood-burning stove that adds to its charm. A fire-school bell from 1890, which is sounded for special occasions, can be found just outside the building. Our History The Club at Castlewood traces its origins to the famous Hacienda del Pozo de Verona estate, which was built by George and Phoebe Hearst, the parents of publishing mogul William Randolph Hearst. From 1891 to 1919, Phoebe Hearst's Hacienda, created by Julia Morgan, served as her house and sanctuary. At "the house of hospitality." hosting parties and gatherings for up to 300 people was normal. In the 53 room mansion, the Hearst's reputation for throwing a grand party was certainly upheld. Local businessmen bought the land in 1924, and the mansion served as the clubhouse for the original Castlewood Country Club. The name was chosen because it matched Phoebe's home's wooded hills and castle like aspect. Private Events at The Club at Castlewood: There is no such thing as a huge plan or a little gathering. Castlewood offers the space and staff to accommodate any occasion. These hills have a magical quality to them. India Community Center (ICC) is a secular, non-profit community organization and event venue situated in Milpitas, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The 40,000-square-foot facility on North Milpitas Boulevard welcomes gatherings of all kinds — from intimate studio sessions to large-scale weddings, concerts, and cultural festivals. Across its multiple event spaces, ICC accommodates groups ranging from 10 to 825 guests. The flagship Malavalli Auditorium seats up to 550 banquet-style and 825 theater-style, and is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, drop-down projection screens, and a LED backdrop.
