Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel is a historic landmark in downtown San Francisco, steps from Union Square, operating since 1946 as one of the first "living memorials" in the United States. Housed in a storied building with gold leaf-accented ceilings, original crystal chandeliers, and grand architectural details across multiple floors, the club honors military service through a unique combination of hotel, theater, and event space. The venue offers over 15,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space across six distinct rooms, accommodating events from intimate 10-person gatherings to receptions of 330 seated guests. The 11th-floor Crystal Ballroom and adjacent Crystal Lounge host weddings, fundraisers, and corporate receptions beneath vaulted hand-painted ceilings with city views. 888 BANQUET & EVENT SPACE: China Live is an interactive culinary and cultural destination located at the entrance to San Francisco's Chinatown, offering a comprehensive look into Greater Chinese cuisine. Our goal is to demystify Chinese ingredients and cuisine while also educating guests about the country's rich history and cultural heritage. China Live can accommodate small gatherings of 10 individuals to large reception-style events with up to 825 people and many sensory experiences. MARKET RESTAURANT: Our first-floor restaurant offers a seasonal menu that changes daily and is prepared at eight specialized stations that combine traditional Chinese and Western culinary technology. A major dining space serves as the focal point, with handcrafted seats and tables made from reclaimed Chinese elm in China. These exhibition kitchens, which have plenty of bar seating, allow you to get a closer look at the skilled chefs at work. The wok station combines European and Chinese flair, with a state-of-the-art Hestan range on one side and an extensive custom-designed wok line by Joe Yick, a third-generation family business in San Francisco, on the other. The charcuterie station features a deep wood-fired oven, similar to a pizza oven in concept, but serving classic roast duck and chicken instead. DESIGN: A Chinese clay oven, similar to an Indian tandoor, is a three-foot tall receptacle resembling an enormous vase that sustains low heat over charcoal fire for an extended period of time, suitable for low and slow roasting pork. Dumplings, in particular, scream Chinese cuisine. This station, which serves as the restaurant's focal point, is equipped with enormous cast iron pans for cooking pot stickers and a variety of steamed and pan-fried dumplings. Our facility can accommodate a wide range of private events such as weddings, business events, birthday and bridal showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, conferences, and more. To avoid having to wash dishes at night for her large family or having to eat hamburger helper (her brother's favorite dish to cook), Linda traded dish duties with her siblings for cooking duties, and developed an intense passion for planning menus, creating recipes, and putting on dinners and events for her family of 15 children. Linda is the mother of 15 children. In her adolescence, she could frequently be found in bookshops reading cookbooks, and she had a cherished memory of reading "The French Laundry Cookbook" for the first time from cover to cover when it was originally published. She made the decision to attend a cooking school shortly after, having no idea that it would turn out to be a career choice. Having been born and reared in Argentina to an American father and a French mother, she comes from a diverse background of cultures and experiences, which contributes to the diverse range of flavors she enjoys putting into her dishes. She moved to the Bay Area when she was 17 years old in order to attend culinary school in San Francisco. After stays in New York and Kansas City, she returned to the Bay Area and began performing at some of the city's most prestigious restaurants, including Masa's, Campton Place, The French Laundry, and Michael Mina's, among others.

The food at Nari, a modern Thai restaurant, is inspired by the cuisine of Thailand's past yet prepared with an eye toward the present. The term "woman" in Thai has its origins in Sanskrit, which is where our name, "Nari," comes from. A personal love letter to the women in her life who taught her how to cook and, more importantly, how to eat, Nari is our chef and owner Pim's tribute to generations of Thai women who laid the foundation for Thai cuisine. Nari was inspired by the women in her life who taught her how to cook and, more importantly, how to eat. In the intimate setting of our Suda private dining room, we can accommodate up to 24 people. Nisei is Chef David Yoshimura's first restaurant after holding the position of Chef de Cuisine at the Michelin-starred Californios restaurant in San Francisco. The restaurant is located in the Russian Hill district of San Francisco. The restaurant Nisei is a celebration of the Japanese-American ancestry of its owner, Chef David Yoshimura. The tasting menu is inspired by the cuisine of California, which is known as Washoku. Washoku, which literally translates to "harmony of food," is the Japanese equivalent of "home cooking." The art of Washoku centers on a set of guiding principles that emphasize harmony in color, sense of smell and taste, and respect for the ingredients used in food preparation. To complement the experience, Nisei offers a selection of drinks from all over the world that have been painstakingly chosen by the General Manager and Sommelier, Ian Cobb. The Flood Mansion, located in San Francisco's Pacific Heights area and home to the Schools of the Sacred Heart, turns from a school to a private event venue with over 6,000 square feet of space available for rental throughout the day. The Flood Mansion is a symphony of classical styles, including elements from the Italian Renaissance, Rococo, Tudor, and Georgian periods. Since Mrs. Flood bequeathed her home to the Religious of the Sacred Heart in 1939, this exquisite building, built in 1915, has been well conserved. Despite the fact that the facility is now a private school, it is nevertheless open for special events after school hours and on weekends. Our stunning Grand Hall and other rooms can accommodate up to 165 people for seated parties and up to 299 people for reception-style events.
