River Legacy Living Science Center was built with a focus to environmentally friendly design. Design by renowned architecture firm Jones Studio, the limestone and granite structure includes three enormous red oak trees that serve as structural support for the roof, literally bringing the outside in and creating a seamless connection to the surrounding woodlands. The building is constructed of limestone and granite with a limestone and granite façade.
