Cecil and Juanita Crumley decided to make their home there with unwavering confidence. They built a home and started a dairy farm on the property, where they raised their six children with love. Cecil and Juanita remained hopeful throughout their lives that their farm would be blessed with both rain and sunlight, allowing them to reap a bountiful harvest. There were good years and hard years, but their faith in each other and their love for one another never wavered. The parents chose to give a portion of the land to their children several years later out of love. The Venue at CeNita and CeNita Vineyards, Winery & Tasting Room are now located on that property. The building — originally home to the Blue Bell/Wrangler plant — was purchased by the city in 1988 and most recently underwent a complete renovation, reopening in January 2025 with updated spaces and a new outdoor courtyard available for rental. The center sits 60 miles north of Atlanta in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and offers five distinct event spaces spanning a range of sizes. The Harmony Grove Room on the upper level is the venue's largest, accommodating up to 750 guests with its factory-style windows, hardwood floors, wet bar, and access to a commercial kitchen. On the main level, the Commerce Room seats up to 100 guests and features hardwood floors and an in-house sound system with wireless microphones; the Cold Sassy Room holds up to 65 guests in a space defined by exposed brick walls; the Peach Room accommodates up to 40; and the Executive Board Room provides a table setting for up to 12.
