R-Ranch in the Mountains

R-Ranch in the Mountains is an 800-acre private resort and wedding venue set in Yahoola Valley near Dahlonega, Georgia. The property rises into the North Georgia mountains and encompasses a 13,000-square-foot lodge with sweeping views across the valley, an open-air Hilltop Overlook ceremony space, and a traditional chapel -- offering couples a choice between an outdoor mountain backdrop or a covered indoor setting. Weddings at R-Ranch follow an all-inclusive format: the venue handles setup and provides tables, chairs, and linens, along with a bridal room, a groom's lounge, and a dedicated planning consultation. Rehearsal dinner space, rehearsal time, and complimentary engagement shoot coordination are also part of the package. The broader ranch -- with its cottages, cabins, lakes, and more than 25 horses available for trail rides -- gives out-of-town guests a destination experience built into the weekend.
