Four Bricks will assist you in creating memories that will last a lifetime. Because of its location at the intersection of Greenleaf Avenue and Hadley Street, which served as the site of the original Whittier Town Center, it was referred to as the "Four Bricks" by residents of the community. We hope that, in the same way that Whittier's Four Bricks became the heart of the community, the Four Bricks will serve as a second home for the community that Whittier has grown to be in the same manner. In recognition of our commitment to preserving and celebrating the history and heritage of Whittier, we chose this name for our organization. Rancho Los Cerritos is a historic home and gardens nestled in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, California. Built in the mid-1800s, the two-story adobe structure served as the headquarters of a sprawling cattle and sheep ranch before evolving through generations of California history. Today, the 4.74-acre property holds Local, State, and National Historic Landmark designations, offering a setting shaped by centuries of California heritage. The grounds — designed by landscape architect Ralph D.
